ANN'S P.O.V.
"Get in the wheelchair, c'mon now we gotta get to the car." Chad says in a hurry, as we race to the car before anyone notices we're gone.
I feel light headed but my blood rushes quickly at our adventure out of the hospital. Honestly Chad makes everything fun, I have a concusion, my friend is missing and my mother will soon realize I am gone but I am having a good time as Chad scoops me out of the wheelchair and runs with me tight in his arms.
We get to the car, drenched from the rain, and he puts me in the passenger seat.
I feel like I am in a Fast and Furious movie as we speed down the road, where would Brendan be?
We pass by our special spot down by the water and- "Pull right now!" I yell.
He has to be there I can just feel it like some sort of bond we have pulling me to him.
Chad rushes right and we go down the spiraling road in search of Brendan's car.
Crack! a tree branch falls on the sid of the road next to us but Chad doesn't falter as we continue down the long path.
I see Brendan's car in front of me as we turn a corner...it is crushed by a tree, right on the roof of the car the tree has crushed it down, the roof is probably crushing Brendan.
"C'mon!" I yell and shove open the car door. Chad runs over to my side right as I slip out of the car and onto the ground. He leans down and scoops me up "Are you okay?" he asks as he walks us through the pouring rain over to the demolished car. I just nod and he begins to walk over faster, holding me tight against his warm chest.
He puts me on my feet and I lean on Brendan's car, my head dizzy.
Chad struggles to budge open the passenger door of Brendan's car. It's obviously locked but he is in a rage and he doesn't seem to care.
The rain pours down on Chad's face, his white shirt soaked and matted to his abs, showing off every muscle.
I lean down and look under the tree into the window, Brendan's head is lying against the steering wheel, his body pale and motionless, he isn't making an effort to get out. Blood is dripping down his forehead and onto the steering wheel and his leg.
I see the blood drip, drip, drip.
"Get him out!" I scream and pound the hood of the car. I reach for a branch on the roof, attached to the massive tree on top of the car. It snaps from the tree with strange ease. I throw the branch on the ground in a fit.
I try to push the tree completely off and fail miserably. I pick up the branch again and swing it behind my head. I slam it into the windshield and it shatters, glass flys everywhere and out of the corner of my eye I can see Chad's face, he is shocked and looks like the wind knocked his breath out.
Glass falls on the ground all around me and I don't even feel the small, sharp pieces prick my skin. It is no comparison to the pounding rain or the racing adrenaline, coursing through my veins, through my blood.
I run to the other side of the car and reach in the window, unlocking the doors. I yank it open and Brendan falls on top of me and I fall to the ground.
"Ahh get him off ahh-" My breathing cuts short by his weight and Chad rushes over picking him up off of me.
He leans Brendan against the car and shakes him wildly.
