Chapter Seventeen

Marcus had changed. He knew for sure he had to change. His little plan with cookie was over.

He officially had to step up and be a better man. After all, Cookie was about to have his baby.

After cleaning and a long shower he got dressed and left his hair out.

He picked up his phone and shades and walked out the suite.

He called a cab and it took him directly to Marilyn's house.

I sighed as I stepped out the cab.

I walked up to her door and knocked.

She soon opened it.

She stood their in a black silk robe, black lipstick, and her red hair out and sprawled over her shoulder

"Done with her that quick" she smiled and let me in.

I sighed.

"I have to let you go Marilyn."

"What?" she said

"I'm.. Letting you go. I have to be a better person and you need a better guy."

"But I..want you? Why are you doing this?"

I sighed and looked up to the ceiling then back at her.

"Cookie gave me what I've been wanting for awhile...." I sighed

"What? good head? wow you're such a jerk" she scoffed and went to walk off.

"No... a baby."

I sat on the cold doctors bed awaiting for the ultrasound technician.

I sighed and looked at Max.

I had no idea how id tell my father I was pregnant.

I soon snapped out my thoughts when the nurse walked in.

"Congrats to you Ms.Britney.. You are three weeks pregnant." she smiled

"Eeep!" Max cheered.

I gave a nervous smile.

"Well here are prenatal vitamins. and stuff to start you off in the pregnancy."

"Thank you ...very much"

Me and Max walked out and I saw Max smiling, harder than she ever did before.

"Why sucha big smile?" I asked

"You're pregnant! Ima be a godmommy! this is so great!" she cheered

"Yeah yeah... what do you think it is." I said rubbing my belly.

"A girl of course." she said

"How are you so sure?"

She humped her shoulders.

"I dunno.... I just. I know"

"Ah."

We sat on the bench awaiting the cab.

We soon got back to the hotel and up to her room.

We walked in and dalton was standing I'm the kitchen with nothing but a towel around his waist.

"Ewww!" I covered my eyes

He chuckled.

"Hey" I heard Max said then I heard lip locking?

I removed my hands

"What was that I just heard."

".... I said hey to dalton?" Max said
