There's no where else that I would rather be
Than with you, no matter where you are;
An island in the middle of the sea
Or driving along the road in a car.
Of the barriers that do keep us part
The distance between us wouldn't be one
Because I'll always be there in your heart
For us two as far away as the Sun.
And although I might not be there standing
I am always thinking somewhere inside
of us together, to go on living
with hope one day that you'll become my bride.
I'm sorry I'm not there today, tonight
But you know, you must, that I am still here.

Sonnets
PoesieThese are some sonnets that I've written. Some are English (Shakespearean Sonnets), some are Italian Sonnets, and some are modified. They all have 14 lines, ten syllables in each line and hopefully a near iambic pentameter.
