If you have grown accustomed to our love,
The days that pass more weary than the last,
Why have't you broke the branch of nesting doves
Underneath of tomorrow's overcast.
They'll spring free from arrest into the sky
To be again above our nature's way
And glad to spend without another lie
Their time that was just slip, slipping away.
And with your heart that's bored please let us go.
The shade that is laid down is near the sunlight.
Don't keep us bound here in the past to woe
With better days gone by to dusk and night.
You know by now that we aren't meant to be,
Together in our sense of loyalty.

Sonnets
PoesiaThese are some sonnets that I've written. Some are English (Shakespearean Sonnets), some are Italian Sonnets, and some are modified. They all have 14 lines, ten syllables in each line and hopefully a near iambic pentameter.
