The celestial taste of starburst in my ear
Comes calling like the sound of a rainbow.
It is the voice of color that I hear,
Prism notes strung together by a sew.
A beam of light clears the clouds from my mind
So that I can see the arc in the sky.
Now I realize how long I’ve been confined,
Tied down like a prisoner in Versailles.
The door from here is opened like a book
Where the road curls through pages I’ve not read,
To take me into the grasp of a hook
That frees me from the thoughts inside my head.
Thank you dear for saving me from myself.
It felt like I’ve been kissed by a rainbow.

Sonnets
PoesíaThese are some sonnets that I've written. Some are English (Shakespearean Sonnets), some are Italian Sonnets, and some are modified. They all have 14 lines, ten syllables in each line and hopefully a near iambic pentameter.
