A walk in the park of hearts and aces
A thousand steps, a thousand heartbeat paces
The day is still too young to turn around
Play the game rather than put cards face down
On without any direction in mind
And onward until the end of time
Toe to toe, fleet of foot in drunkenness
Clothed in an Emperor’s cloth of nakedness
Standing near another person at noon
Tempted to dance like dreams across the moon
Struck down by the sound of a ringing bell
The end of the trance by a broken spell
Holding upright in hand the old maid’s queen
Thinking that you’ve been cheated out again

Sonnets
PoesíaThese are some sonnets that I've written. Some are English (Shakespearean Sonnets), some are Italian Sonnets, and some are modified. They all have 14 lines, ten syllables in each line and hopefully a near iambic pentameter.
