I miss the thought of holding you tightly
Like a teddy bear under my covers,
Snuggling right next to each other warmly,
Back during the days when we were lovers.
Do you remember when there was a time
That all the world around us stopped to wait,
Hanging like a masterpiece in a frame
Still frozen there forever in the paint?
Now I can only look up on the wall
To remind myself pleasantly of you.
Whilst I’m standing underneath the snowfall
And I feel that my heart is turning blue.
Knowing this frost would never melt away,
Not even in front of the fireplace.

Sonnets
PoesíaThese are some sonnets that I've written. Some are English (Shakespearean Sonnets), some are Italian Sonnets, and some are modified. They all have 14 lines, ten syllables in each line and hopefully a near iambic pentameter.
