Maka's eyes burst open, as a loud earsplitting scream echoed off the walls. Her head rose above the table for a moment as she screamed before  falling back down. Her heart beat fast, her throat was on fire as she gasped for air. She let out a loud cough, soon after...she felt a cold liquid run down her chin.

The door creaked open before slamming back shut, "Good morning Maka" Medusa walked over to the side of the bed and wiped maka's chin with her wrist. "I was thinking that you really had gone for a moment"

"Go.....to hell" Maka said roughly and quietly.

Medusa brought her face only inches away from Maka's to her ear, "You...first" Medusa's hand grabbed a hold of Maka's wrist and squeezed.

A long, multi shaped snake slithered down Medusa's arm, across her wrist, and over her hand. It crawled onto maka's pale skin...and inserted itself beneath the layers.

Maka let out a scream as an excruciating pain ripped through her skin into her blood. It sped up her arm through her arm, and made a quick turn, splitting up, and dispersing throughout her veins.

She felt her throat begin to close as she again gasped for air. Medusa released her wrist and walked away from the bed, Her bare feet making a soft sound with every step across the floor. Until she reached the door, pulling it open, and vanishing out of sight, leaving Maka alone with only her thoughts.
