Three slow years had passed by and Bonnie was still grieving like it was just yesterday her life done a 180.Every time she told herself, "hey maybe I'll be okay" something will spark up the unwanted memories of everything she lost and that's why it was time to move on.
After all she has no family or magic left, Elena's stuck in a coma until she departed from this world, her "best friend" desiccated and in the end she was left shattered trying to pick up the broken pieces of herself.
She knew she needed to leave for a while now.
I suppose there was something inside that had been building her up on false hope that maybe, just maybe he's going to somehow awaken from his untimely demise and run back to her, but it never happened.
She tried to not remember that it was no ones decision but his own and that reason alone made it even harder to find a way to forgive him.
Finally she was on her way out, leaving mystic falls, where to? Your guess is just as good, but if she wanted to keep what little bit of her sanity that remained she needed to get out of there. She felt a release on her when she looked up, driving past the moss ridden Leaving Mystic Falls sign. There's no turning back now she thought out loud.
*phone rings*
Failing to pull over Bonnie checked the caller ID and to her surprise it's Stefan.
"Hello"
"Hey Bon, where are you? I came to
your dorm but you weren't there and neither was any of your stuff. Care to explain?""I... uh actually Stef-"
"Bonnie I need you to come to the boarding house as soon as you can." He cut me off.
"Stefan I can't, just please, le-"
"Bonnie you weren't serious about leaving were you"
"Of course I was Stefan. I've spent the last three years moping around waiting... For... um for what exactly I don't know, but I can't live like that anymore."
"Bonnie we both know what you've been waiting for because trust me I've been the same way but you can't just up and leave when things get tough" he replied way ruder than intended.
She was taken aback at his comment and he knew it.
"Out of all people Stefan you should understand how I feel and you should want better for me like I do for you. I need to leave this devil town, and i'm sorry but I can't just run back when you snap your fingers" she said sternly.
"Look Bonnie you are the strongest person I know and you're right in how you feel. You deserve nothing but the best in life but I'm not arguing with you. I need you to come now. This could change everything" he whispered. And with that the call was ended.
After a couple minutes of mentally fighting with herself, she turned the car around and let out a reluctant sigh. Welcome To Mystic Falls.
Here's chapter one. It's really short and Sorry if it sucks but please leave feedback and vote. Thank you so much for reading ❤️
