Two sets of eyes, eyes of longing finally put to rest-for their eyes have finally met. Hearts racing, feelings subsiding, the two staring unknowingly at each other, mouths agape.
"Are-Are you...?" The blonde spoke softly, slowly lifting her hand to point at the pink-haired man. He'd look almost identical to the man in Lucy's dream, she'd think she was hallucinating.
The man held no reply, as he was currently at a loss of words. Was she the pretty girl from his own dreams as well? Natsu had no idea. However, he was practically convinced this was the pretty girl he'd been dreaming about. The same, beautiful blonde haired girl.
"It's... It's you..." He stammered with widened eyes. "It's really ｙｏｕ..."
"Natsu..." She whispered, tears bubbling in her eyes. She brought her hand up and covered her mouth, holding back a quiet sob.
"Lucy?" Suddenly, Lucy crashed into Natsu's chest, tears flying into the air from the sudden burst of movement. Natsu let out a quiet cry of surprise, his arms residing mid-air in confusion.
His thoughts were slowed down from the sudden body contact, but quickly went to normal as he processed what had happened. He had spaced out for a good two minutes.
Slowly, a smile pulled at Natsu's lips as he slithered his arms around her waist and buried his face in her golden locks. He pulled Lucy closer in a deeper embrace and said, "I've always wanted to smell your hair..." Bringing his hand up behind Lucy's back, he twirled a strand of hair around his index finger. Lucy giggled and blushed.
He soon had a handful of hair, and was sniffing the soft tissue. Lucy's blush deepened, as Natsu's cheeks held a slight tinge of rose pink. "Lucy I..." Natsu pulled away, but still held her hips with his large hands. "You're just like the Lucy from my dream... The one.. The one I fell in love with..."
Lucy smiled sweetly at him, a tear dropping from her eye. "You're the same from my dream as well. The one my hearts been longing for..."
Natsu pressed his forehead against Lucy's, and breathed a breath he hadn't known he was holding. "You know, it's strange..."
Lucy looked into his eyes, wonder shimmering in her big brown orbs. "You're what I've always dreamt of, and now you're here right before my very eyes."
He chuckled softly.
"ｄｒｅａｍ ｃｏｍｅ ｔｒｕｅ."
