We arrived to Moscow Russia, and to be quite honest I wasn't ready to come back. We went to our hotel and this time we all had to share a room but it was massive, well yes of course it's a suites. I tried to convince the guys that I should sleep on the couch but couldn't. I put my luggage on top of the bed and then zone out for a bit.
"Hey Carolina." I looked up to see who it was.
"Oh Yuri you scared me, what is it?"
"I was just checking up on you, you seem to zone out a lot since we landed.
"Hey it's okay don't worry, where's Victor?"
"He went to go downstairs to the lobby, he has a interview with some news reporters." He said
"Oh okay, are you going to rest?" I asked him
"Yeah but I meaning to ask you something." He said scratching the back of his neck
"Yeah what is it?" I asked him
"I know it's none of my business but why did you move to Japan, it's because you haven't really told me and I'm really worried about you." He told me with worry in his eyes, I gave him a weak smile and looked down.
"I'll tell you but promise me you won't tell Victor."
"I promise." He said as he sat down next to me.
"Okay, look Victor wasn't the only the reason I left Russia but to tell you I ran away from home. Um how do I put this, Yakovismygrandfather." I quickly said
"What?"
"Yakov is my grandfather, ever since my father died, my mother started to drink. I was four at the time when she smashed a beer bottle on the back of my neck." I lifted my hair up and showed him my scar. "After the incident, they took me away from my mother and took me with Yakov. That's where I meant Victor, I was five and he was six, he was the one who showed me how to skate. That's when I found the passion of skating. And from that moment on Victor and I were undefeated in the ice skating rink. When Victor was 15 and told the news reporters that he works alone, which I overheard and it crushed me, that I was just being used to make him famous. The worst thing about it was the very next day Yakov then told me that I should quit ice skating, I got mad and we had this argument."
Flashback:
"You're not good enough Carolina, your father would of been disappointed in you!" Yakov then realized what he said.
"What do you mean by that, you're say that my father was an ice skater too and you didn't bother in telling me!" I yelled holding my tears in
"There was no reason to tell you cause you'll never be like him, and I want you to stay away from Victor."
"Quit changing the subject! I have all rights to know about my father, and don't worry about that I'm leaving, so I won't block your 'great future' with Victor. For all I care you were the WORST COACH EVER!"
End of Flashback:
"After that I called your mom and told her everything and she accepted me, and that's where I met you."
"That must of been rough for you, you've been through so much and did you find anything about your father." Yuri asked
"I found out a little bit but I want to find about him more." I told him with a soft smile
"I hope you do but I also want to know about you and Chris if you don't mind."
"Oh well remember when I went to Switzerland for a couple of months when I was 19, Chris and I met at a coffee shop, he asked me if I was still duet skating with Victor. I told him about it and he comfort me. In a couple of weeks we started dating, I was happy for a few months but everything went downhill, because I have never learned how to express my love to anyone, so it was a beautiful cold night I was at Chris's house, we were watching a movie, and he tried to kiss me but I couldn't and pushed him away, so after that we broke up and I came back to Japan." I said looking at the floor.
