Third Person POV
Carolina, Yuri, and Viktor got ready for today. It was the first day of the Grand Prix Finals. They went to the skating rink, in order to practice their programs. As time went by it was time for the woman's event. Carolina was the last one to go up. She did such an extraordinary performance. As she exited the rink she was hugged by the person she secretly loves. Viktor. As her score was announced she was in first place beating her own record. As the female ice skating event finished it was time for the men's event. Yuri was the first one to go up and he plans to change up his program a bit. He's going to attempt to do Mrs. Carolina's and Viktor's signature move the quadruple flip. He's got good speed and he's off. By the stands is Carolina and Viktor they jumped up to do the quadruple flip alongside with Yuri. As they land they saw Yuri put his hand on the ice. They just stared at Yuri as he finished. The crowd cheered as Yuri was out of breath and fell to his knees. Carolina was about to go and help him out, but was stopped by Viktor nodded his head no as Yuri was mad at himself because he didn't get the flip right. He exited the rink, and Carolina gave him a hug as they sat down on the bench waiting for Yuri's score. Once they announced it Yuri wasn't so happy. Yuri was being interviewed as Carolina and Viktor went to go see the other skaters.
Viktor's POV
As Carolina and I were watching Yurio skate it made me realize that I should now consider retiring and becoming Carolina's and Yuri's coach. I know I won't be able to compete with Carolina anymore but I still have her by my side. Once they announce Yurio's score, I wasn't surprised that he passed the record that I made. Carolina turned and looked up to me and I gave her a smile as I went ahead and held her hand. She put her head on my shoulder.
"Carolina? Viktor?"
We turned around to see Yuri.
"How are things going?" He asked"Chris is about to start." I told him as he went ahead and sat down.
Yuri's POV
As Chris was skating in the corner of my eyes I was Viktor smiling and Carolina rolling her eyes. I don't know why, but I have this strange feeling that I'm probably holding back the king and the princess of the ice. Once the men event was done. Carolina and I went to go change for our last event. I put on some headphones and listened to music so I can clear out my mind. Carolina and I were the last ones to go. We got in position and waited for the music. Once the music started that's when I put all my effort into it just so I don't disappoint Carolina. I did almost fall on one of the flips. As the music came to its end. We finished strong. The crowd went wild and chanted our names. I hugged Carolina and we exited the rink. She hugged me back and pats my head. We waited for our score and we came in second place. This was all my fault I wasn't so focused.
"Yuri don't worry about it to much, we'll be stronger tomorrow okay?" I turned to look that Carolina was looking at me with a soft smile.
Carolina POV
As we were packing to go to the hotel, I told the guys that I'll meet them up at the car. I had some unfinished business to do. I finally found the person I wanted to talk to.
"Hey Chris do have a sec?" I asked him as he was being interviewed.
"Yeah sure what's up?"
"Look I've been thinking about your question and the answer is no, look Chris I only see you as a big brother or a really good friend. I really hope you understand." I told him as he gave me a hug
"I totally understand thanks for be straight forward and told me just at the right moment. See you tomorrow?"
"See ya tomorrow." I told him as I went to the car. We then arrived to the hotel. Viktor took a shower first, once he was done I took a quick shower and once I was done I put on my cute bear onesie. I go out the shower when I heard Yuri say.
"After the Final, let's end this."
'WHAT?!?!?!?!'
