Yakov's POV
"Hurry get me a bucket of cold water and a towel!" I yelled holding my granddaughter in my arms. She should've never pushed herself like that, I held her tight waiting for the bucket of water.
Yuri's POV
It happened so fast, I froze when my best friend fainted. I should've stopped her I knew something was wrong. I felt tears rushing down my face, as I say her in Yakov's arms, he yelled for a bucket of cold water. I rushed to go get a bucket of cold water and a small towel, I ran as fast as I could, telling people to move out of the way. I hand the bucket and towel to Yakov and he started soaking the towel with cold water and placing it on Carolina's forehead. I held on to her hand pray that she would wake up. The paramedics rushed towards us with an oxygen tank. What felt like hours, Carolina final woke up.
Yakov's POV
As the paramedics put on the oxygen mask on her, Carolina started to breath normally. I looked down at her still holding her in my arms. I saw that her eyes were opening slowly.
"Grandpa?" She said softly
Tears started forming in my eyes as I hugged her, she hugs me back tightly and let's go wiping the tears from my eyes.
"It's okay grandpa, everything going to be okay." She said with a smile
"Oh Carolina, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I lost you." I told her
"But I'm still here grandpa. Grandfather I'm sorry I should've never ran way."
"My dear granddaughter it's not your fault, it is my I should've never said those horrible things to you." I said as I gave her a hug. The score was announced and Carolina broke the world record for women ice skating. She hugged me and Yuri as she went the skating rink to receive her golden medal. I smiled at my granddaughter, she worked so hard, as she walk towards me I said my goodbyes and told her that I'll be seeing her at the Grand Prix Final.
Carolina's POV
Today was such a rough day, I fainted in front everyone and everyone who was watching me on tv. I pushed myself to the point where I fell in one of my quads. However there was a good side this my grandfather and I made up after all these years.
"Carolina are you okay?" I looked up and saw Yuri standing in front of me. I gave him a gentle smile and nodded.
"I just need to rest for a while besides we have to go to Barcelona tomorrow." I told him
"You're right, I'm going to get something to eat want something?" He asked
"Well I would just like a nice cup of jasmine tea." I told him and he left, once Yuri left I hugged one of the pillows and wait for my phone to ring. Did Victor see what happened on the TV? Why isn't he calling me? Come on Carolina Makkachin is in the vet he needs Victor to be with him right now. Maybe I should text him, no then he'll be annoyed, clam down Carolina, I told myself. Ugh, put my hands on my face, I slid my hand down to my neck were Victor gave me a kiss, I felt me face get hot. I shook my head and looked up at the ceiling. I can't be can I? No impossible he doesn't have the same feels towards me. Yuri then came with a bag full of snacks and my tea. We talked till it was time for us to go to sleep. I felt my eyelids getting heavy, I closed my eyes and mumble
"Stupid Victor making me feel confused and weird but who can resist a guy like him." I smiled and fell asleep.
