Carolina's POV

"Carolina" someone whispered

"Whaat?" I said still asleep.

"It's time to wake up, today's the first event of the Grand Prix." The voice said again.

"Ugh five more minutes." I said, then I felt the blanket being yanked away. My eyes then shot open, hugged myself cause it was cold. I looked at the person who took my blanket.

"Victor!!! What are you doing here get out!!" I yelled throwing pillows at him. I push him out the door way. I blinked and realized what happened last night, I started to blush and cover my face with my hands. Stupid Victor, he should think before he says things he doesn't really mean. I took a quick shower, and put on some leggings, a white shirt and my maroon jacket. I got my sports bag, and went downstairs to have some breakfast. After I was done, I met up with Victor and Yuri at the ice skating center. Then I got a notification on my phone, I checked what it was and my eyes widen. Phichit!!!! He's going pay for this, it was a picture of when Victor was drunk and he was trying to kiss me. Once I entered the ice skating center, I spotted Phichit right away.

"Phichit!!! You little..."

"Carolina hey I couldn't stop myself of sharing it online." He said puting his hands up. I then felt a hand on my side, then it slid down to my waist, which cause shivers up my spine. I looked up and saw it was Chris.

"Awe why didn't you invite me Carolina?" He said as his face was on my neck. He then whisper in my ear, "Why haven't you called me, I missed you."

"Hey Chris how's it going?" I turned around and saw that it was Victor. Chris then lets me go, I then rushed off to the girl's locker room to get dressed for Yuri's and I first events. I met up with the guys at the rink. I didn't talk much for the practice skate.

"You okay Carolina?" Yuri asked

I looked up and smiled, "Yeah don't worry I'm fine." We were the third ones to skate. During our performance, in the corner of my eyes I saw that Chris winked at me, I looked away and frowned which caused me to trip but I kept my balanced. We finished strong and exited the skating rink, so far we're in 1st place. I quickly changed into my other costume, I didn't talk much to the guys I wasn't really in the mood. Yuri and I we're the last ones to perform. I felt a little better but not so much. Once we finished they announced the results. Yuri and I came in first place, we got our medals and bouquet of flowers. Yuri was really happy and hugged me and hugged him back as I went to the locker room. As I was done changed, Victor took my hand and started pulling me away. I didn't struggle, I just walked. We went to the parking lot and then he let me go. Yuri came along with us too, I kept looking down at the ground.

"What's wrong Carolina? You're usually not like this." Victor asked me

"It's nothing really don't worry so much." I said still looking down at the floor.

"Carolina tell me!! Is it because of Chris, was it something that he said?!" He started raising his voice

"No it's not, gosh it's not like you care." I told him clenching my fist.

"Oh really, that's not what it looks like Carolina, you're just keeping everything to yourself!"

"Hey Victor you should calm down." Yuri said

"And as for you Yuri if you don't stop being nervous, this will be the last time I'll ever couch you and Carolina will come back to Russia!" I looked up and saw Yuri crying.

"Real smart for you to say Victor! You didn't have to include Yuri too! And who are you to tell me to go back to Russia! There are reasons why I left and you're one of them!! And I thought you coming over to Japan will be a new start for both of us, but I guess it wasn't!" I told him with tears in my eyes. I calm down a bit and looked at him in the eyes, "Think before you say, you might end up losing someone." I turned around and left, I went to the bathroom, I looked myself in the mirror and then dropped to my knees, I couldn't keep it in, I cried my heart out.

Victor's POV

What have I done, I was trying to break her wall to tell me what's wrong. I scratch the back of my neck.

"You should have a little faith in us Victor, you shouldn't just butt in Carolina's problems like that, she been broke since the day I met her but at least she doesn't just give up." Yuri said as my eyes widen, I looked down and sighed. "We should get going Victor we don't want to miss Carolina's event." Yuri told me.

Carolina's POV

After I was done crying, I blow my nose and wiped my eyes. I headed towards the skating rink. I was the first one up, I looked around and saw no sign of the guys. I shake my head and entered the skating rink. I started to skate, it made me feel better because this song expresses the pain I keep in my heart. I skated with grace and beauty. I started to feel tears on my eyes. I landed all my flips and loops, and for the ending I just let my tears fall. I got up and saw that everyone had tears in their eyes, they were also cheering, I smiled and bowed, I quickly exited the rink. People gave me hugs, I gladly hugged them back.

"Carolina." I turned around and felt the person warp their arms around me. I looked up and it was Yuri. I hugged him tightly and buried my face in his chest. I looked up at him, "I'm sorry you had to witness that back in the parking lot Yuri." I said

"Hey it's alright Carolina, now you have to be strong okay, and I know Victor was such a jerk but he was worried about us well you mostly." He said as I nodded and thanked him. I changed into my other costume and waited for my turn for the free skate. Victor and I were standing close to each other but didn't say a word. I was up next I took a quick drink of water and gave my water bottle to Victor. I poked his nose and skated away. This time for the song I skated with the rhythm and instead of doing a triple toe loop, I did a quadruple toe loop. And for my final flip I skated backwards and got ready to do a quadruple axel flip. I landed perfectly and the crowd was shocked. I did my finishing pose, the audience were cheering my name, I bowed and looked at the guys Yuri was clapping and Victor covered his face. I was worried if he was still mad. He then ran towards the entrance of the rink and looked at me. I shake my head and skated fast towards him. Then something unexpected happened, Victor jumped towards me, my eyes widen as he kissed the side of my neck. My face turned red as a tomato. The crowd gasped thinking that he was just hugged me. I landed on the ice and Victor was on top of me.

"Carolina I'm sorry I just don't know what came over me, I don't know if I was just jealous and I-" I cut him off by putting my finger on his lips.

"You such an idiot Victor, but thanks for making me cry I helped a lot actually, that doesn't mean I forgive you fully." I said with a grin. He helped me up, and they announced the winners. I came in first place, I got my medal and they have us a teddy bear, I got a cute panda. I went to the locker room and put on my clothes, and my comfy shoes, I put everything in my sports bag. I went to go see Yuri skate in the end he won second place which is not bad. I'm so proud in him, Victor and I gave him a hug. We went to the hotel once everything was over and packed our things. We got on our plane, we ware heading to Russia, I was scared to go back.

"Carolina is everything okay?" I looked up and saw Victor. I looked down and held my hands together, Victor put his hand on top of mine. "What ever happens in Russia I'll protect you I promise." I smiled and relaxed a little, but can I really face my past?
