*Ava's POV*
"Good luck baby. I know that it's going to be good and that you're gonna make it. Don't worry I'll be here waiting for you when you get back."
Zayn was about to leave for his X-Factor audition and he was really nervous. His hands were sweating like crazy and he looked really pale.
"You sure that I'm gonna make it? I don't think I'm that good. You know what? I'm not going. I'm going to stay here with you Ava." Zayn looked deep into my eyes and showed so much love.
"No Zayn. You have to do it. This is what you want. Go chase your dream. Don't let me stop you from doing what you want. You hear me?"
He looked down then deep into my eyes again. "Alright just because you tell me to. I don't want to let you down. You're the love of my life and I don't want that to change just because I made a stupid decision. Oh Ava. I love you so much."
"I love you too Zayn. Now go. Your mum is waiting for you in the car. Good luck." And with that he gave me a quick peck in the lips and left. I waved at them until the car left the driveway completely then went back inside.
-Several Months Later-
*Zayn's POV*
"Alright lads. Sit down. Make yourselves comfortable."
We were in Uncle Simon's office me and the rest of the boys were waiting for what he was going to tell us.
"Ok since you five came into the competition as individuals, you as a group don't have much publicity. So to get you all more out there, one of you all is going to 'date' one of the contestants. You probably know her: Rebecca Ferguson. So management picked Zayn as the one to 'date' her. So Zayn what do you say?"
I didn't know what to say. My face was emotion less. Liam was looking at me with worry. "Zayn mate. Are you alright?"
Simon then looked at me and said, "It's alright if you say no but the group will be disqualified immediately and eliminated from the competition."
I remembered the day before leaving for the audition when Ava had told me to chase my dream. I had told her that I wasn't going to let her down. That's exactly what I came here to do and I didn't want it to end so soon.
I looked back at Simon. "Where's the pen so I can sign the agreement?"
What was I supposed to tell Ava now when she sees the headlines about me and Rebecca 'dating'?
