Chapter 2

*Ava's POV*

It's been a few months since Zayn left for the X Factor and I miss him so much. We Skype every night but lately he seems really distant. Its like he has something to tell me but he can't.

*Zayn's POV*

I was about to Skype Ava but I just keep thinking how I'm going to tell her. I'm super worried. I don't want to hide it from her but then if she finds out by someone else it might end our relationship and I don't want that to happen. We have come to far for this to just end like that.

"Stop worrying mate. She's going to take it well. Well at least from what you have told me about her." I gave Liam a long look. "Liam you just don't know her as much as I do. You say that because Danielle is really comprehensive. I mean she didn't get mad when she found out that you were hiding from her your fear of spoons." He looked annoyed by the fact that I knew his fear. He then got up and left for the kitchen.

*Ava's POV*

I was watching tv when I heard that I had a Skype call coming in. I quickly answered knowing that it was Zayn

"Hey babe. How's X Factor right now?" "It's good but I have something to tell you." I knew it. I just knew that he had something to tell me.

"Oh Zayny baby I knew from the past few days that you had something to tell me." "Ava baby. You know I hate when you call me that please don't do it again especially here when the boys are around." I could see a smile creeping up on his face. One that I hadn't seen in a few days and one that I wish I could see everyday for the past few months.

"Ok I'm sorry babe it's just so adorable when you get mad at me but trying to hide a laugh too. So what is it that you have to tell me?" He gave me a long look but it looked more like he was thinking to himself.

"Ava baby. Since me and the boys came in as individuals and we need more publicity, management wants me to do something." He stopped talking right there. I could tell that he was kinda nervous. "What is it Zayn? What is management making you do?"

"Management is making me date Rebecca Ferguson." My smile quickly faded away from my face. "Zayn. Why did you accept?" I could feel the tears dwelling up in the corners of my eyes. "Ava. I did it because if I didn't, me and the boys would be disqualified and eliminated from the show and I didn't want the promise I made to you to be broken. And its only fake. We're not actually going to be dating. You hear me?" I nodded but still felt pain just knowing that in the headlines it will be about Zayn and Rebecca dating.

"It's ok baby. I mean you don't want your promise to be broken about following your dream and actually getting to it. I understand. it's getting late I should go now. Bye Zayn. I love you. Don't forget that." "I love you too Ava. Good night."

And with that I shut my laptop's screen and burst into tears. I knew it was fake but it still hurt to know that he was going to kiss someone that wasn't me. The love of his life like he always tells me I am.

Hey you guys!!! So this is the last update before I go back to school. Yup my winter break is over and I go back monday sadly.
