Chapter 21

*Zayn's POV*

"I'm ........" "You're what?"

My heartbeat had picked up and I was anxiously waiting for Ava's answer.

"I'm pregnant!"

I ran to her and picked her up and started spinning around.

"I'm going to be a dad! Oh my Allah! Ava! We're gonna have a baby!"

When I put her down she seemed kinda dizzy so I guided her to the couch.

"Zayn. Oh my god. I still can't believe it. We're gonna be parents!"

Tears started rolling down her face and so was in mine. We were both crying tears of joy and by now, Ava's parents had come into the living room from the kitchen. Mrs. Foster had a huge smile on her face and I could see that her eyes were teary.

"Congratulations you two. I can't wait for my first grandchild."

Mr. Foster just gave us a small smile agreeing with Mrs. Foster. I can't believe I'm going to be a dad!

*Ava's POV*

It was around nine when we went to bed. Me and Zayn were laying down in our bed with our hands intertwined over my tummy.

"What do you think it's gonna be?"

Zayn had broken my train of thought as he asked the same question that every first parent asked during the first pregnancy.

"I really don't know. I hope it's boy and that he gets his daddy's good looks."

He let out a soft chuckle and I could see a small blush creeping up his face.

"What about you? What do you think it's gonna be?" "I don't know either but it doesn't really matter to me. Whether its a boy or girl, I will love him or her the same like their adorable mummy."

He sat up and whispered to my tummy.

"You hear that little one? I will love you no matter what. Nothing is ever going to stop me from loving you or your mum."

He kissed my tummy and went back to his laying position. He was facing me now and there was a smile on his face that made his eyes twinkle brighter than the stars that would appear sometimes on the London skies.

"We're going to be parents! Can you believe that?" "To be honest, I still can't believe it. It all feels like its just a dream. But I know that when I wake up tomorrow, I'm going to remember that there is a little person growing inside of me."

He leaned in and kissed my forehead but not before kissing my lips.

"We should sleep now. I don't want you to be exhausted tomorrow."

I gave him a small nod and closed my eyes. I started slowly drifting to sleep but then a disrupting thought came to mind. We didn't discuss baby names.

"As crazy as this might sound because its only been maybe like five days into the pregnancy, we need to discuss baby names."

He let out a sigh and turned to look at me again.

"Don't you think it's a bit too late to discuss this right now? How about we wait until tomorrow?" "But I don't want to. I want to talk about it right now." "Fine fine."

I clapped my hands in enthusiasm and got into a sitting position.

"What do you want the name to be if its a girl?"

He sat up and started scratching his head in thought.

"I don't know but I do know that I want the baby to have my mum's name somewhere in there." "How about Linda Patricia? I've always liked the name Linda and since you want your mum's name to be included, we can use it as a middle name. "

He nodded his head in agreement and asked a question this time.

"What about if its a boy?"

This time it was me that went into thought.

"My dad has always wanted a son but my mom had a lot miscarriages after I was born and eventually gave up. Maybe we can name him Daniel like my dad and he could be like the son he always wanted."

Zayn gave me a sweet smile and I returned it.

"Have I ever told you how caring you are? You're always trying to make everyone happy." "He's my dad and I want to make him happy. It's my job to thank him for giving me life. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't exist. Now that we are done with names, we should go to sleep."

We laid down again and I felt Zayn wrap his around my waist. I snuggled into his chest and closed my eyes hoping to fall into a peaceful sleep.

"When are we gonna tell my mum?"
