Chapter 27

*Zayn's POV*

As the taxi stopped outside the building that Ava and I had our flat in, my heartbeat increased. It had been awhile since I had last seen her and I finally got to see her again. I wonder what her reaction will be.

"That'll be £10 sir."

I reached into my pocket and pulled out a £20 bill. I handed it to the taxi driver and looked at it in awe.

"Keep the change."

He nodded his head as he still looked at the bill then looked up at me.

"Thank you sir. Have a nice day." "You too."

I exited the taxi and went towards the back of the taxi to get my luggage out. The driver opened the trunk revealing my two suitcases. I took both of them out and saw the driver exit the taxi.

"Do you need some help sir?" "No thank you. It's all good."

He nodded his head and went back inside the taxi. I shut the trunk and picked up my luggage. I walked towards the entrance of the building. Before going in, I turned around and waved at the taxi. This is it. I get to see the love of my life again.

I walked into the building and made my way towards the elevator. I pressed the up button and waited for it to arrive. As I waited, I heard someone call my name.

"Mr. Zayn? Is that you?"

I turned around to see Tommy standing behind me with a smile on his face.

"Tommy! It's nice to see you!" "It's nice to see you too sir. I see you came back to see Ms. Ava."

I nodded my head and I couldn't help but let a big goofy smile take over my face. I heard a beep signaling that the next elevator was here.

"Well I should let you go Mr. Zayn. Have a nice day and say hi to Ms. Ava for me." "You too Tommy. And I will."

I picked up the luggage and made my way inside. I pressed the button that had the five. As the elevator made its way towards the fifth floor, my heartbeat kept going faster. I wanted to hold her in my arms again and leave kisses all over her face. I just missed her overall.

I heard a beep signaling that I was there. The doors opened and suddenly I couldn't move. I felt like my feet had been glued to the floor. I started taking deep breaths to calm down. After three breaths, I was all better. The elevator doors were beginning to close and I had to press the button to keep them open. I picked up my suitcases and made my way out.

As I walked down the hall, I became more nervous. At some point, I actually thought of going the opposite way. But then I would remember that I had waited for this day for a long time and I just couldn't throw it away.

I kept walking down the hall until I got to the flat. 521. This is it. The love of my life awaits me inside. This is the day I have been waiting for. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open up. I heard Ava shot out to her mom that she got it. A bigger smile came upon my face knowing that she was the one to open up.

To make this moment more meaningful, I looked down with a serious face. When I heard the door open, I looked up to see Ava with a shocked face.

"Zayn?"

Hello my fellow readers!!! Long time since I last updated.... IM SORRY!!!

I know I said I would update more over the summer but I kinda got lazy. School started at the end of August and since then I've been really stressed. I'm taking college level classes and I'm also a junior, which is the year colleges look into, and it is really stressful. I rarely have any time for myself. I'm really sorry for not updating. Hopefully none of you lost interest. Hope you enjoyed the update. I don't promise another update soon. I just want to relax.
