Chapter 9

*Ava's POV*

I ended up making chocolate chip pancakes and also some homemade chocolate chip cookies. I just love chocolate.

We were sitting in the table eating when I heard a phone ring. I knew it wasn't mine so I didn't bother getting up to check. I knew it was Zayn's but I didn't want to stop eating just to tell him.

He got up to go check and gave me along look when he saw who it was. "It's Perrie. I'm sorry babe. I wanted to spend the day with you but I guess it's not gonna happen." "It's ok babe. Now how about you take the call."

I got up from the table and walked into our room. I laid down in the bed and started crying my eyes out. Just when I thought everything was getting better between us, the blonde bitch calls.

I got out of the room and went into the hallway making sure that Zayn didn't see me. "I'm sorry Perrie but I got a busy schedule today. I know that it would have been fun hanging out with you today but can't happen today."

I started cheering when I heard that. Zayn told Perrie he was busy and now we could hang out today. I went back into the room and pretended that I was on the phone the whole time.

Zayn then came in. "Ava. Guess what. We get to hang out today!"

I looked up an tried putting the most surprised face I could. "Are you serious? Oh my god that's awesome."

I jumped to him and he caught me. I then covered his face with kisses. I pulled away and gave him a huge smile. "I love you Zayn." He leaned in and kissed my forehead then my nose and finally my lips. "I love you too Ava."

I kissed him once again not wanting this moment to end. "Now how about you get ready for our day out?" "Ok but what do I wear?" "Wear something casual and that's appropriate for the weather cause its raining so you might want to dress for the cool weather." "Ok!"

I hoped off Zayn and went into the restroom.

*Zayn's POV*

Since my plans with Perrie were cancelled, I decided to take Ava out today. I have a huge surprise for her. I'm planning on taking her to the London Eye then once we're at the top, I want to propose. I've been planning to but we always end up fighting ad I forget about it. But not today. I know it's the perfect time since we've been dating for almost five years now.

I went into the guest restroom and showered. I put some khakis on and a long sleeve white button down. I took out my white converse and put them on as well. I went back into the room and made sure that Ava wasn't out yet. I went into my sock drawer and took out the box with the ring in it and put it in my pocket. It didn't make that much of a bulge so I didn't have to worry about her seeing it.

I went into the living room and sat down. All I needed was Ava to come out so we could leave.

*Ava's POV*

When I got out of the shower, I went back into the room and walked in into my closet. Zayn said to keep it casual and appropriate for the weather. So I took out a pair of jeans and blue plaid shirt. I knew this shirt drove Zayn crazy since he liked how blue looked on me. I took out my black converse since it matched my shirt and put them on. I left the make up untouched and decided to go natural. I blow dried my hair and left it down. I grabbed a black hoodie and left the room.

I walked into the living room and saw a well dressed Zayn sitting on the couch. He looked up and smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back. "You look gorgeous Ava. You know I love how blue looks on you." "Well thank you Zayn. You look quite handsome too."

We laughed at our silly joke and left our flat. We walked hand in hand to his car. He opened the door for me and waited for me to get in. He then jogged to his side and got in.

"Shall I ask where we are going?" "You'll see when we get there."

I was so impatient now. I hated waiting especially when it was a day out with Zayn.
