Chapter 15

*Ava's POV*

When everyone finished eating at Nando's, we left right away to Louis's flat. It wasn't really far from here. Within 15 minutes everyone was there.

The guys and us the girls went our separate ways. They went into the entertainment room and we went to the tely room.

We sat there in silence until Danny spoke up. "So we heard the rumors. Is it true that you and Zayn are engaged?"

I wanted to just scream out yes with excitement but I controlled myself. I just gave her a small nod and I immediately felt my cheeks burn up. Danny and El looked at each other and started squealing.

This time it was El that spoke. "I knew already. Lou told me that Zayn had told him that he was planning already. I just never told you cause I didn't want you to know."

Danny looked at get with a face if shock. "How dare you admit that you weren't even going to tell me? I'm part of the group too. And you know I can keep secrets." "I'm sorry Dan Dan. It's just Louis told me to not tell anyone. Not even you." "Ok."

We sat there catching up for what seemed like an eternity. Meanwhile we could hear the boys through the wall cheering. I guess Zayn broke the news to them too.

*Zayn's POV*

"So you and Ava are engaged?" This seemed like the millionth time that Niall asked that.

"For the what seems like the millionth time Niall, yes me and Ava are engaged."

The boys started hitting each other playfully and Niall came and gave me one of his Niall hugs.

"Congratulations man. I'm glad that you found the right girl. Unlike me. I guess I'm going to become a cat guy or something and maybe grow old alone and get all fat." "Don't say that mate. You'll find the right girl someday."

Louis and Harry were still playing around like little five year olds but Liam was sitting out. So unlike him. Usually he's trying to break them apart. I walked over to where he was and sat besides him.

"Liam. What's wrong?" "Nothing I'm just trying to figure out how to propose to Danny. We've dated for three years and I know she's the one. I just don't know how to pop the question." "Don't worry Liam. You'll find a way. You're a smart lad."

I gave him a reassuring smile and got off the couch. It was around seven in the evening and figured that it was kinda late already. I went into the living room and saw all three girls sitting there.

"Ava we should get going. It's kinda late." "Ok let me just say bye to the girls."

I went off into the hall and waited for Ava to come outside. After like three minutes she came outside and I put my arm around her waist.

I leaned down to her ear. "I love you Ava." She gave me a small smile and whispered back. "I love you too Zayn."

We got to the car and drove home. When we got there, I quickly took off my shoes and collapsed on the couch.

I thought Ava had gone into the room but instead she came and laid on top of me. I lifted my head and saw her snuggling into my chest. She found a comfortable position and closed her eyes. I wrapped my arms around her and I felt her breath come to a steady beat. I knew she was asleep now. I closed my eyes too and quickly fell asleep. I don't know what would be of me if I had never met her.
