5 days later

Steph's POV

"I'm so glad you're back!" Nattie and Kaitlyn exclaimed. I giggled and hugged them. really did miss them. I couldn't wrestle but now I could tour with them. Dean and I haven't talk since he left and since he broke up with me. Of course I still miss him it hasn't even been a week. I planned on talking to him but I was too afraid of being let down. I knocked the thoughts out of my head and got ready for my segment. The Shield music played and they expected it to be the guys, but once I walked down they screamed in awe and excitement. Commentary screamed in surprise as Jana looked at me nervously.

I finished making my way down the stairs and climbed over, grabbing a mic and stepping into the ring.

"I'm baaaack." I sung and dropped the mic, tackling her to the ground and began punching her and elbowing her in the face. As I slammed her head to the floor she pushed me off but I got back up and kicked her in the gut, and gave her a DDT. I slowly got up and threw her out of the ring into the steel steps and into the barricade.

Randy's music blared out through the arena. He ran down but was quickly met by a spear by Roman out of nowhere. While Roman and Seth took care of him Dean was no where to be seen.

I threw Jana back in the ring and stood there waiting for her to get up. She took too long so I grabbed her and helped her up. I let go of her as she wobbled around. I stood back and gave her a sweet chin music making the crowd jump and cheer. I jumped up and down still not done. I picked her up and put her in a headlock. I gave her the dirty deeds. I picked her up by her head and told her I was back again before pushing her head away. Seth and Roman got in the ring and hugged me. We finished up and walked backstage.

"Why didn't you tell us you were coming?" Seth exclaimed.

"Dean didn't tell you guys?" I asked.

"No. All he said was he broke up with you." Roman spoke and I sighed.

"I made a mistake guys. I didn't mean it and I wanted to make things right. Is he around?" I asked.

"He's in the locker room so go talk to him. It'll be fine. He loves you." Seth said rubbing my back.

"Alright, thanks guys." I walked off to find him. I knocked on the door and slowly opened it. He stood there and watched me with amusement in his eyes.

"Hey Dean."

"Hi."

"Why didn't you come out there?" I asked.

"Because, I thought you wouldn't want me out there. Im guessing you're here to apologize? If not get out." He snapped at me.

"Dean I'm sorry for accusing you. You are so right. I should have asked you before accusing you and going off on you like that. I miss you. I love you and I'm so sorry. We can work this out." I said softly.

"Oh so you expect me to take you back like always? Maybe that's why you take advantage of me so much. But I'm tired of it. I have not did anything wrong to you. It's best for us to just part." He explained to me. I looked at him as a tear fell.

"Those tears aren't gonna work this time Steph. You should've opened your eyes." "Show your way out." He turned away from me. I walked back to my locker room and sat down on the couch in disbelief.

He really left me.

Hours later

I sat back in my hotel room eating ice cream until phone call came to my phone. Roman.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey. I heard what happened and don't be upset. I called to ask you something."

"What is it?" I asked.

"Wanna get something to eat?"

"Why?" I questioned,

"Because it's New Year's Eve and just to cheer you up. I know you've had a shitty day."

"What time?" I asked.

"About twenty minutes, so get ready." He hung up. I freshened up and put on skinny jeans and a v neck with a blazer over it with heels. I curled my hair and put on small makeup. I sprayed on perfume and grabbed my phone. I texted Roman telling him I was ready. He soon replied telling me to meet him in the lobby. He had on a button up and jeans with his hair slicked back in a ponytail. I smiled at him and greeted him.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Always."

After dinner Roman and I went to the park. No one was there. It was dark and the stars were out. He pushed me back and forth on the swing while I laughed. We had a good time at the dinner. Barely any fans and we had good conversation and there was not a moment where we were not laughing.

"You can stop now." I smiled. He stopped and laughed with me.

"I have something for you." He said walking to his car and pulled out two glasses and wine.

"Cheers to a new year !" He smiled. I laughed and touch glasses with him. We both quickly downed the wine, and more of it.

"It's 11:59."

"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, THREE! TWO! ONE! Happy new year!" We yelled and shared a laugh again.

"Happy new year Steph." He smiled.

"Happy New Year Roman." I smiled as he kissed my cheek. He let it linger there and brought me close to him, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Um, we should probably get back." He muttered. I grabbed his face and leaned in, pressing my lips to his.
