It didn't go well after I told Riley that I can't have sex with her, because I am scared that everything will change for the worse. Let's just say that she kicked me out of the house and that she hasn't answered her phone for over a week now.

She got mad, because I thought it would all be different afterwards. I don't know why I think like that. She is very angry with me, since she won't even answer the phone.

It's Friday and I am supposed to be with her, but I am still at college, because I am not sure if I am welcome or not.

"Are you okay?" My roommate asks me, while standing in front of a mirror to put some makeup on. Every Friday is a party day.

"Yeah, I am fine." I tell her as I keep staring at my phone, waiting for Riley to answer me.

"You want to go out tonight?" She asks me, but like always, I shake my head.

"Okay." Amber says, concentrating on what she is doing. I send Riley another text to please call me, but I know she will ignore it, just like the other text and times I have called her.

"You know what, I will come today." I say, getting out of bed and watch Amber smile of joy.

"I just need to change." I look down at my sweatpants and my old T-shirt. I can't wear this when I meet other people and my classmates.

I decided to go with Amber anyways, because there is no point in just lying in bed waiting for Riley to answer me. She might not even do that. So why not go out with a friend and meet some of my classmates. I need a social life in this place, just like at home.

Amber stops the car in front of a house filled with people and loud music. Last time I was at a party, I pushed someone into a pool. Let's hope it's not going to happen this time as well. Not like there is anyone here I despise so I guess it will be okay.

"Come on." She smiles and I get out of the car to follow her to the big fancy house. Whoever lives here must be rich.

"Hi!" I watch Amber hug some of her friends and I greet them as well. Louise and Elise, they seem nice enough, but I am not so interested in what they are talking about, so I move on.

I just wander around seeing if there is anyone, I know around here. There are some familiar faces, but it's not like I know them as good as I know my friends back home.

Why didn't I just go home to them instead of being here? I guess my brain is not working right today. Maybe I am just a bit stressed out and all I can think about is Riley.

"Who is calling me right now." I tell myself as I try to find my way out of the house in a hurry. She can't hear that I am at a party. She might get the wrong idea.

I know how unsure she was with me at the start of our relationship. Can't make think that the first thing I do is to look for someone else when we are in a fight, which is what I am not doing at all.

"Okay, okay." I breathe to calm myself down for a second.

"Hi, baby." I smile.

"What is it?" She asks, annoyed, which wiped the smile off my face.

"Why won't you answer my texts and calls?" I question.

"I am answering you now." She says flat and it makes me rub my forehead in frustration.

"It's been a week Riley and I am sorry." I tell her.

"I know." She just answer.

"Can I come to you?" I wonder and I wait in a tormented silence, which feels like forever.

"Yeah." She answers. A tiny smile creeps on my mouth.

"Okay, I will be there in a few hours, okay?" I tell her.

"What? Aren't you home?" She asks surprised.

"No, I am still at school."

"Why?" She questions, confused.

"I don't really know." I say, but then chuckle, nervously.

"I come, okay." I tell her as I get into the car again. Good thing I drove here.

"Okay, I wait." She says and end the call. I send Amber a text that she needs to find herself another driver before I find the long way back home to Riley.
