To my horror is was Jake, 15 minutes late to class. "Mr. King can you tell me why you're late to my class?" Mr. Still asks, stopping the lesson.
"Well you see, someone told me to go to hell. I couldn't find it so I came here." He answers with a smirk. The whole class erupts into laughter. I put a hand over my mouth trying not to laugh, but I fail miserably. I burst into a fit of laughter until Mr. Still says "Just for that Mr. King you can go sit over there, with the lovely ladies," I shut up real quick when I realize he is pointing at our table.
Jake gazes over at our table with an annoyed expression. Then he spots me and a mischievous twinkle appears into his emerald eyes. I gulp and scooted a little closer to Ava.It only takes him 3 strides to get over to our table. Of course he has to sit in the seat across from me.
What I did wasn't that bad to deserve this. The universe definitely has something against me.
Jake plops down and begins staring at me. I just ignore him and continue to take notes in my journal.
The whole time I can feel his eyes burning holes into my head. Once the bell rings I sprint out of the room and all the way to my next class.
I don't have this class with Ava so I don't know anyone in here, and I'm the first one in the room.
The universe really does hate me.
I was sitting in my seat off in my own little world, when I felt a light tap on my shoulder from the seat behind me. I turn around to find a tall blond staring at me.
"Hi!" The girl says in a voice like candy.
"Hello!" I say smiling.
"Are you the girl who roasted Jake in the hallway this morning." She asks pointing at me
"Sadly, yes" I say looking at my lap, trying to make it look dramatic. She chuckles quietly. I chuckle too.
"I'm Emma Wood it's nice to meet you...." She says and I realize she doesn't know my name."Sophia, Sophia Andrews." I tell her, finishing her sentence.
"oooh any relation to Jason Andrews," She asks
"Yep, he's my brother."
"You guys look nothing alike." She observes, her eyebrows creasing a little.
"Yeah he got all the good genes while I'm stuck with the plain ones."

For lunch Ava and Emma wanted me to meet them for lunch, so I'm leaning against my locker waiting for them.
10 minutes later
"Ok guys let's go find a seat." Ava says over the constant chatter of the cafeteria.
We find a big table with a few extra seats. I was really hoping I wouldn't see Jake again. I crossed my fingers the whole time I was in line to get food; Ava and Emma saved the table while I went to go get everybody's lunch.
I buy the lunches and turn around to go back to the table. When I see Jake sitting at our table with the girls, but what really pissed me off is that my brother is with him. I walk a little closer to the table and then I see that they are sitting down. "Uuugggghhhh, Jason I thought you didn't want to be seen with your baby sister," I whine, sitting down between the girls which just so happened to be across from Jake.
"Well I thought it would be nice to see how your day is going, and it turns out you're kinda popular so it won't be that bad," I snort which makes Jake chuckle.
"What makes you think I'm popular?" I ask picking up a fry and pop it into my mouth.
"Are you serious everyone is talking about how someone has to have a lot balls to stand up to Jake and that a girl by the name of Sophia Andrews did indeed roast Jake in the hallway. Plus I'm your brother so that makes me popular so thus I have to sit with you to show them how close I am to you," He says looking straight at me, not even thinking that, that may hurt a little bit that he doesn't want to be seen with me unless I'm popular.
"Well I thought you were finally showing your love and appreciation for me, but it turns out you're just here to get popular, thanks Jason I feel so loved." I say, my voice bitter. I'm trying not to show them how much that infuriates me. When I realize that everyome is looking at me, I get up and rush out of the cafeteria door.
I go to my locker to get my purse and homework, then I grab my keys slam my locker, and drive home.
My last period was a free period, so I'm not missing anything.I am so angry at Jason that I didn't even care that he didn't have a ride home.
I unlock the door to the house, put my purse on the hook, and my keys in my purse. I also lock the house door so Jason can't come in.
It seemed I got angrier by the minute. It was 3:00 when I left school. It's 4:30 now, and I'm still flaming mad. I got a few texts from Ava and Emma asking if I was okay, and asking me to let Jason explain.
I just got done changing when I see a shirtless Jake in the window right across from mine. I noticed that the windows were so close that we could lean over and be in each other's room.
Who built houses this close? A perverted architect?
I notice that he had a chisled 6 pack. I gulp. He's hot with a shirt on, but with no shirt he's like a Greek God.
My eyes travel up to his face. He has a sharp jawline, with a perfect nose. His chesnut hair was a little messy, but it made him look even sexier."Take a picture, princess, it last longer," My brown eyes met with his emerald green ones.
"I wasn't looking at you I was looking at the uhmm.....uhhh, that tree over there it's really pretty," I blurt out, but I'm mentally face palming.
"Yeah suuure you weren't, but your brother is over here, he feels bad, I think you should just forgive him."
"Why should I, this morning he didn't want to be seen in the same car as me, because I embarrass him or something. Then he sits with me at lunch because I did something that actually made him look good, and not embarrass him so give me one reason why I should forgive him,"
"Because you don't embarrass him, you make him look bad, and he feels like he is not good enough for you, at least that's what he told me,"
"Jake can I come through your window to get him?" I ask.
"I guess?" He says, but it's more like a question.
I know this is stopped in a weird spot, but the next chapter I'm going to put Jake's point of view so you can see what he thinks of Sophia.
Bye my loves❤
