Chapter 3

I step into Jake's bedroom to find coke cans cluttered on the floor. " So where is my brother?" I say trying to get out of the disgusting room.
"Downstairs in the living room."
I practically run out of the room, down the stairs. I see Jason on the couch with his phone glued to his ear. I don't know who he is talking to, but I really don't care I just need to apologize to my brother. I loudly clear my throat so he knows someone is here. He whips around, and his eyes instantly soften.
"What are you doing here?" He asks standing up. " I came to apologize to you, I didn't know you felt that you're not good enough for me you really are the best brother ever. You can hang out with me anytime you want to I really don't care, just remember I love, even though you always rub it in my face that you're 10 seconds older than me."
He pulls me into a bear hug. I start to chuckle softly and hug him back.

We get home, and I immediately go down to the kitchen and get some ice cream. Then I go back to my room and watch Netflix on my laptop.

Jake's POV

Since this morning when Sophia bumped into me, and then proceeded to sass me. She has been on my mind non stop. I got with another girl to at least try to get her off my mind for a few minutes, but it didn't work. It's starting to annoy me whatever I do she won't stop running through my head. All I want to do is talk to her or kiss her or even just hold her.

Right now I'm sitting here on my bed watching Sophia watch Netflix. Her brown hair is laying on her back, but a little lock was covering her face. I watched as she got a bite of ice cream, she would put it into her mouth and then lick her lips. It made me want to kiss her more.

Stop Jake you're the bad boy you don't think about girls for more than 2 seconds.

Sophia's POV

Beeeeeep, beep beep! I slam my hand down on my alarm clock. I roll over to get my phone, but I end up rolling off the bed. "UGGHHH FUDGE YOU MORNINGS!" I yell tearing myself off the floor.

I start my usual routine, I slip my foot in my moose slippers, and go bang on my Jason's door; Then I take a quick shower, wrap a towel around my body, and walk to my closet.
I pick out my outfit for today, and get started on my hair.(Sophia's outfit up above☝☝) I have to blow dry my hair, but after that I decide to leave my hair natural,(My natural hair is wavy.)

I jog downstairs, to grab an apple before I leave.
I snatch the last apple out of the bowl, and go to the door to get my purse and keys. I notice a lime green sticky note on the door. It says
My dearest Sophia I went to school early today to meet with some friends. Don't wait up.

I roll my eyes at his note. Of course he would abandon his sister to go meet up with his buddies.

I have to park far away, because this freaking school has to have a million freaking students and all of the want to freakin park at the front.
I have to sprint all the way across the parking lot and all the way to class if I don't want to be late.

After I sprinted all the way to the class, and took a water bottle from a random kid. I take a deep breath and sit down next to Ava. She greets me with a huge goofy grin. "Who put sugar in you cereal this morning?" I ask, breath. "No one, but I did have cereal this morning. How did you know? Anyway I was going to tell you that me, Emma, and you are going shopping after school today, Emma is going to pick us up at 4, so be ready! "She rambles, with a megawatt grin
"Okay then," I say, my eyes wide.

fter I say that the teacher walks in and starts the lesson.

The rest of first period was really boring. At least I didn't have someone staring at me the whole time. Because Jake didn't bother to show up to class. Thank God.

Right now I'm sitting next to Emma in second period talking about random stuff. " Oh yeah, Jason wanted me to tell you to wait for him at your locker before lunch. He also told me that me and Ava need to wait with you." She informs not glancing up from her paper that she's been working on.
"Did he say why?" I ask scrunching my eyebrows.

"Nope he just said that you have to."

What does Jason have planned now?

It's now lunch. The girls and I are waiting at my locker for my stupid brother.
"It's been A LONG time I need food!!" Ava whines leaning against a random locker.
That's when we see my brother walking towards us, but he's with three other people, and one of them is Jake.
