Gia, Chris and I are at my house studying for our history quiz tomorrow.
“Alright, its official. I’m failing this quiz tomorrow,” Chris says while shutting his textbook.
“Did you even read the whole chapter?” I ask
“I read the title and the first paragraph.”
“Wow. Look who’s Mr. Over-achiever,” we both laugh as I encouraged him to continue studying.
After 5 minutes of silence, Gia’s phone rang. “Hello? Yes, this is she,” she said while making flashcards. “Wait…. WHAT?!?”
“What?” both Chris and I ask.
“Shhh! Seriously? Rihanna?!?” Chris and I looked at each other with our eyes widened.
“Yes, I would love to. Okay, talk to you soon!” she squeaked.
“What?”
“I just got offered to be a background dancer for Rihanna’s new video!”
“OH MY GOD!!” I screamed as we jumped up and down.
On Gia’s free time, she loves to dance. It’s her passion and she’s always applying for stuff online.
“Wait, how’d they find you?”
“I guess they found one of my old audition tapes online!” she yelled while still jumping.
“Congrats babe. Let’s go out and celebrate,” Chris suggests while kissing her on the cheek.
“You’re just trying to get out of studying. You’re not low,” I said suspiciously.
“No, I’m not. I wanna support my girl,” he says while hugging Gia tightly.
It’s moments like that where I stand there and smile, wanting to be in Gia’s place.
