        It’s been a week since the video with Gia was released and her head has gotten even worse. Every time I try to talk to her she cuts me off so she can talk about herself in the video. Or if we go out to a restaurant she expects them to give her a table instantly just because she was in Rihanna’s video.

          Lately, it’s just been Chris and I. I’m not complaining though. He’s really mad that Gia’s abandoned us. He’s been venting to me about how she’s not the same anymore.

          “She was so distant. She wasn’t even watching the movie.”

          “What was she doing then?” I asked curiously.

          “She was texting and checking Twitter the whole time. She said there was no point in watching the movie ‘cause she wasn’t in it.”

          I’m not gonna lie, Gia’s really starting to annoy me. But, having her act like this gives me more time to hang out with Chris. He’s really amazing.

          I don’t understand why Gia’s treating him like that. I’m not trying to steal anyone away but, when Chris is just being handed to me, it’s not really my fault. Right?

          I’m starting to feel like Chris is growing feelings for me. He’s been holding my waist and picking me up from home to walk me to school. He’s also been hinting that he wants to break up with Gia.

          Yesterday, while we were walking he said, “I like this.”

          “What do you mean?” I asked.

          “You and I. Hanging out, walking together. Alone.”

          “Yeah. I like it too,” I said with a smile growing on my face.

          “It’s been fun just hanging out with you. Gia’s been so distant, I forget about her a lot. Maybe…”

          “Maybe what?” I asked eagerly. He kept quiet but, I had a feeling he was going to suggest they break up.
