I picked up Marnie on my way to school today. I gave her a ride every single day since she still had a bit until she could get her license.  I moved my bag off of the passengers seat so Marnie had a place to sit. "You got everything?" I asked as she sat down. Marnie nodded at me, & I started driving. "So, anything special happen over night?" She asked with a wink. I rolled my eyes. "If you're referring to Shawn asking me out, then no. Marnie, you know that I don't like him."  The sound of his name made me cringe. "He's so into you though, Sam. Why don't you like him, anyway?" I shrugged. "He's cocky." Marnie let out a chuckle. "That's the only reason why?" I sighed. "It doesn't even matter."

We arrived at school a couple minutes later & I parked my car. I gagged at the sight of the A-listers. Who are they you ask? The A-listers are the popular girls. Megan was the leader, and her & Shawn dated in 11th grade. She still hasn't let him go, and for some reason she still thinks  they're together even though he officially told her they were through. She was also captian of the cheerleading squad. Basically every girl in the school looked up to her as if she was their queen. Amalie was the stupid one of the group, and in fact I don't even know why they like her. I've literally met bread smarter then she is. And then there was Chloe. She was basially Megans bitch. She did absoloutely everything for her,and Megan still treated her like shit. Megan laughed at me as she walked by my car, causing me to roll my eyes. Marnie walked around to my side, and grabbed my shoulder. "Don't even worry about people like her, Sam."She said before she walked off to class.

My first class was English. Great. English with Shawn. It was too hard spending an hour and twenty five minutes with him every single day. I walked into class, taking my seat and pulled out my notebook just intime for Shawn to walk up to me. "Hey, you got a pencil?" he asked. I looked up at him, and shook my head. "No, I only have one." Shawn nodded, and took a step back before looking at me again. "You really don't like me, do you?" I sighed. "No, I just don't have a pencil that you can borrow. It would be much appreciated if you would leave me alone." Shawn laughed, and pointed at my pencil case which had at least five pencils in it. "Don't look at me too long, Megan's looking." I snarled. Shawn decided to finally walk back to his desk, without a pencil. I mean, I don't get why he didn't ask anybody else. Why did he always have to ask me?

Class was finally over and Andrea & I had a spare block, so we met up. Of course, she was standing at her locker sucking face with Jesse. Andrea didn't have a very good reputation, because she slept with every single guy that called her pretty. She lost her virginity at 14 years old to a senior. Friendly reminder, she was a freshman at the time. I love being friends with Andrea, but at times I don't because I'M always the one who has to comfort her whenever a boy hurts her. She falls for guys to easily, and has no control over herself. Theres times where I just don't know what to do with her. "Are you two ready to stop anytime soon?" I interupted. Jesse pulled away, then gently pecked her on the lips before walking away. Andrea & I decided to go grab a bite to eat at the Castle Cafe in town before we had to go back to school. We sat outside since it was so nice out.

"So, are you ever going to give Shawn a chance? He might be totally different when you get to know him." she questioned. "You know that I don't like him, hes a prick." Andrea laughed. "You gotta get out more & get to know more guys." she added. I set down my water bottle before replying. "You know, Andrea. Maybe I just don't feel like sleeping with the whole god damn football team." A lump got caught in my throat when I realized what I had just said.

"Yeah, thanks a lot Sam."
