Shawn hungout in the basketball court like any other lunch hour. Marnie, Andrea & I watched from afar. Shawn was with his group of "Buddies". His friends were the most obnoxious people ever. There was Taylor, who apparently threw the most amazing parties which half of the school went to every friday night. He had the ability to get any girl he wanted. Then there was Nash. I guess Nash wasn't so bad. He didn't go to many parties, instead he stayed home and hungout with his little sister. There was Jack Johnson. I dated him back in Sophmore year. He was a good guy, and he's liked me ever since 10th grade. Then theres Jack Gilinsky whose best friends with Jack Johnson and they've been best friends since Kindergarden. They're basically like brothers and literally nothing could tear them a part. Aaron was the most chill out of them all, and he was really sweet too. Him & I used to be really good friends in 8th grade.  Then there was Captain of the football team, Matthew. Matthew is in a relationship with Chelsea, and they've been dating on and off since junior year. He really liked to focus on his school, and relationship more than anything but he was one of the biggest party boys. Cameron was a cool guy, I didn't mind him as much as I did the others. He kind of stayed away from drama and he liked to help others as much as possible. And last but not least, Carter. Carter had a reputation of hooking up with a girl every single night, and then never speaking to them again. He had a thing with a girl named Kyla back in Junior year and he totally hooked up with her and ignored her calls and texts after.

"Why do they think they're better than everyone else?" I asked. Andrea & Marnie looked at me weird. "Who?" I placed down my water bottle, and pointed out the window. "Them" I spoke. Marnie rolled her eyes. "Not all of them are such bad guys. I mean, what about Jack? You two were pretty cool." I rolled my eyes, and continued to eat my lunch. "Yeah. But I mean they all sit there and act like they're the coolest guys on the face of this earth when in reality they aren't." Andrea sighed. "Sam, just let them be, okay? They aren't doing anything to you. Jesus christ, Im tired of you bitching!" Andrea grabbed her lunch tray & walked out of the cafiteria, leaving Marnie & I alone. Marnie stood up, and looked at me. "I gotta go get ready for class, I'll see you after school." I sighed, throwing my lunch in the garbage  and walking outside to the boys. I looked at Shawn, turning his body around to face me. "Why do you think you're better than everyone else? Huh?" I shouted. Shawn pulled me away from his friends, and gave me a confused look. "What are you doing?" he whispered. I rolled my eyes. "Don't play stupid, Shawn. You know what you did!" I replied. Shawn laughed, running his fingers through his hair. "No, Sam. I really don't." I crossed my arms. "You went on a Date with me & didn't text or call me for a whole week. I clearly didn't mean anything to you. I bet your friends just dared you to ask me out so I looked like a complete fool!" Taylor started walking over to us. "Well well well, look who we have here! I haven't talked to you since you came to my party last year." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Taylor I don't want to talk about that, okay?" He laughed. "What? do you not want anybody to know that we hooked up?" I gasped, pushing him away from me. "We didn't hook up, Taylor!" I shouted. Shawn pulled me away from him. "Woah wait a second. You lied to me?" He whispered. "No, Shawn. I didn't." I said. Shawn shook his head. "Yes you did, Sam. You told me you were a virgin, yet you hooked up with Taylor." he scoffed. I rolled my eyes. "Okay, I hooked up with him! So what? it was last year."

Shawn started walking away from me, but he turned around. "It's the fact that you lied Sam. All this time I wasn't being anybody but myself. But you, you were being a liar."

The sight of Shawn made me want to throw up again.
