Yes there will be Howard Bashing in this book and a Maria who is sick and mostly bedridden from a disease.
Tony's Age: 4 years old
I glared at Howard who was once again drinking while he was working instead of paying attention to Tony how was playing with a screwdriver, small tools, and had one of those magnifying glasses on.
I huffed as two hours had already passed with Tony--my best friend--not moving from that spot and was focused on the items in front of him.
Glaring at Howard who hasn't seemed to notice that the time has passed in which Dinner had been skipped.
After a few more minutes I got fed up and stood up from my small dog bed in the corner of the workshop and walked over to Tony who's innocent brown eyes were trained and glaring at what seemed to be a work-in-progress circuit board.
Tony's little hands reached for the screwdriver that was placed right next to him but instead of feeling it, I scooped it into my mouth and took a step back.
After feeling the ground for the screwdriver Little Tony finally looked around for the tool to come face to face with me.
Tony giggled softly before peering a bit scared at his father who took another snip from his beer. "Percy give me that back." Tony giggled and reached for the screwdriver.
Before he could however I stepped backward and gave a playful look to Tony. The kid was smart but well, was still a kid and took the challenge easily enough.
Little Tony got up quickly and chased after me for a few seconds before I was able to press the small pad on the metal door that made it open with a small swoosh.
I ran up the stairs softly and kept a watchful eye at Tony who was trying to speedily climb the stairs to chase after me.
I eyed the closed door before letting out a playful bark and received a small giggle from the child climbing the stairs.
"Percy gimme it back." He said climbing a bit unsteadily up the stairs. Instead of listening I made the dog motion of playing (I stuck my butt in the air) and shifted with energy before letting out a bark again to receive another giggle from the brown haired child.
"Ah Young Master Anthony and Master Percy. I was wondering if I was going to have to fetch you from Master Howard's Workshop." Jarvis said a soft smile on his face as Tony instantly made the up motion with his arms.
Something that he never did with Howard anymore because of the fact that the man was ignoring his child.
I glared at the workshop door for a few seconds because of how much Howard has changed. He use to be amazing and someone I called my friend.
But after Steve went into ice, he acted like it was everything to him and started to ignore his own wife and child. Even Peggy was telling him it was time to stop and focus back on his family!
Sure he loved Tony, I knew that no matter how much he never really showed it (he doesn't even tell the smart kid he loves him anymore!).
But his search for my Captain has gone on far too long. Steve will emerge back into the world when the fates would allow him (I knew he wasn't dead after a talk with a certain Uncle of mine).
I stopped my glaring before it became too obvious and dropped the screwdriver carefully near the door but out of the way of any footsteps before following Little Tony and Jarvis into the kitchen.
Little Tony scrambled for his seat which wasn't exactly a boost seat, but not really just a regular chair either. Jarvis just chuckled and grabbed something off of the counter which I recognized as some type of pasta for small children.
Jarvis placed the food in front of Tony who instantly was about to eat it with his hands before remembering manners his mother--who he loved very dearly--and grabbed the fork next to him.
I smiled in my head and went toward my own food which thankfully wasn't just regular dog food, it was one of those expensive canned items that I think was suppose to be chicken.
After a few bites I walked over to Tony and shoved my nose under his hand to be demanded for a petting from the little guy.
Little Tony giggled before frowning when Jarvis picked him up, "Time for your bath Young Master." Jarvis said softly at the frowning child who was torn away from petting me.
Tony pouted, "But Percy." Tony whimpered heartbroken from being torn from me as he made a grabby motion for me.
Jarvis had this fake concentration face as he looked at Tony, "Well." he said softly making Tony look at him, "I guess he may need a bath too."
Little Tony instantly broke into happy giggles and wiggled impatiently. I saw Jarvis's small frown break into a soft smile at the child.
After a messy, bubbles flying everywhere bath. I was now dry and laying on Tony's Captain America Bed waiting for Jarvis and Tony to emerge from the small walk-in closet.
Tony came back out in his Captain America Footie Pajamas and I internally smiled at the sight and knowing the routine--jumped on Tony's while Tony climbed into his bed without help from Jarvis.
When Little Tony was settled against his pillows and patted the space behind him, I carefully crawled to his side and leaned my head against his hip and felt Tony pet the top of my head while looking at Jarvis with wide eyes.
"Will you continue your Captain America story." Tony asked eagerly to Jarvis who had a somewhat pained smile before it softened and nodded.
"Let's talk about the time Captain America and your Uncle Bucky avoided death on a train with Captain Puppy."
Oh yes, the news somehow heard about Captain America having a pet dog (which was an insult because I mean...I'm a wolf thank you very much) and how it was a puppy. Thus the news decided Captain Puppy would be the perfect, stupid, name for me to go by.
Jarvis had a small smirk as if he knew my inner monologue at the evil press before tucking the sheets around Tony's small frame.
"It started like any other day for Captain Steve Rogers, or as we called him Captain America. The good Captain America and the Howling Commandos had gotten an assignment though, one that they would do personally. It had to deal with a train going hundred of miles on a track and them having to zipline onto the fast moving train...."
I allowed Jarvis to slowly lure both Tony and myself asleep as Tony finally shifted and moved his head to be buried into my fur.
It was a little while later before I felt Jarvis' hands go through my fur. I shifted my eyes open protectively and felt myself relax as Jarvis chuckled softly.
"Thank you old friend for looking after the Little Master." Jarvis said softly as he pet me smooth and softly. Not like a little guy who was curled into me who still didn't really know that much of a difference between soft and hard pets.
Focusing back on the butler, I licked his hand once in recognition of what he said before nuzzling it softly. I saw the butler who was now getting some more grays smile softly.
"I am sorry for how much Howard has changed over the years. I hope that someday he will focus back onto his son before their relationship becomes too strained." Jarvis voiced my similar thoughts.
Feeling a small pat on my head Jarvis stood back up softly, pulled more sheets over Tony, before turning on the Captain America night like (which lite red, white, and blue shield onto the ceiling) and closed the bedroom door softly.
The room was filled with the soft sounds of breathing from Tony before I finally relaxed against Tony and went back asleep.
This was just pretty much Fluff. There will be that for the first few chapters until we get to the age of Iron Man series...which begs the question: How old is Tony in Iron Man 1 and 2?
