I do not own Iron Man or Percy Jackson.

Takes place during Iron Man 1

Time: 0:52:53- 0:54:51

Tony's Age: 26 years old

Percy's Age: 40 mentally, wolf body 4 (thought to be 7 and a half years old--aging slowly)

Percy was walking beside Tony as they entered the air strip that Rhodey taught air force students at. As they entered, Rhodey was giving a normal speech to his students, "The future of air combat. Is it manned or unmanned? I'll tell you, in my experience, no unmanned aerial vehicle will ever trump a pilot's instinct, his insight, that ability to look into a situation beyond the obvious and discern its outcome, or a pilot's judgement."

"Colonel? Why not pilot without the plane?" Tony cut in as my tail wagged automatically as Rhodey turned to look at us.

Neither Tony or I have seen Rhodey since he picked Tony up from Afghanistan and the Conference thereafter. It was certainly nice to see the good Colonel again.

"Look who fell out of the sky. Mr. Tony Stark," Rhodey introduced as Tony and I came closer toward his students, where a few shook Tony's hand and gave me a bit of an odd look but seemed to be ignoring me.

"Hello, sir," one brave soul said before paying attention back to Tony as he started talking again, I seeming to hear the mischievous tone his voice took for a second before he started acting serious.

"Speaking of manned or unmanned, you gotta get him to tell you about the time he guessed wrong at spring break," Tony starting joking as I felt my amusement rise as I remembered when he started this rumor.

"Just remember that, spring break, 1987. That lovely lady you woke up with."

"Don't do that!" Rhodey said with a bit of exasperation at Tony's antics that he's had to deal with since their college days.

"What was his name?" Tony asked with a smirk as Rhodey's students laughed slightly at implying that Rhodey mistook a man for a woman and bedded them.

"Don't do that." Rhodey replied trying not to encourage Tony and his habit of telling the story to people that are suppose to look up to him as their superior.

"Was it Ivan?"

"Don't do that. They'll believe it. Don't do that." Rhodey tried once more as his students were laughing quietly at the banter between the best friends.

"Okay," Tony replied while trying to look like he got slightly told off by his mother, but if you looked into his eyes, you could see the smirk in them as Rhodey just had to reply with "Don't do that," once more to get message across.

I felt myself relax slightly, it was nice to know that even with the shit-hand he's being handed to by life, he was still able to joke with Rhodey right now.

"Pleasure meeting you," Tony spoke to the group of trainees as they were about to be dismissed.

"Give us a couple minutes, you guys," Rhodey said as they trainees starting walking another way to give to two friends a private conversation.

"I'm surprised," Rhodey told Tony once they were alone.

"Why?" Tony asked as I felt my head tilt slightly too as I wondered what Rhodey was surprised about. That Tony can act fine when he's not? He's done that before, especially after his parents death, and then Jarvis' and finally when Peggy's daughter finally, reluctantly, sent her to a home.
