Green Day is playing and Colin is getting distracted. He can't seem to find the soup kitchen, and it begins to set in that he's probably lost. He opens his phone and tries to call Casey, but the number is dead. Dammit, her phone died...

Colin is driving in circles at this point around Eastern PA, at one point he can see the new sea of ocean that was the NJ/PA Border. He wondered if the same fate happened to those other countries, what if New Zealand was literally ocean now? He felt bad for his friend who lived there. He regained focus and made a different turn, away from the border and got thinking. He saw someone waving a American Flag with a sign saying "We are all that's left"

Trying to be democratic. He rolled down his window. "Excuse me sir, what happened?"

The man appeared shocked and among all else, terrified. "IT WAS THE ALIENS WASN'T IT. THOSE ALIENS, THE GOVERNMENT LIED TO US"

Colin calmed the guy down. "Take a breath, it's okay. Tell me what you remember"

He breathed but was still anxious. "Well...all I remember was seeing a bright big flash. At first I thought North Korea finally pushed the big red button or maybe it was that Trump killing off our air supply with factory emissions. Then I saw again, and cars drove into each other, I didn't know what to do"

Colin realized that he was serious. "Sir, are you aware that the entire state of New Jersey is gone"

His face became very numb, and he said with a grin on his face "Please Jesus forgive me for all of my sins, this is getting very bad." He looked at me and pulled a shotgun out.

I panicked and just said. "Don't kill me, I just wanna get to the soup kitchen..." I threw my hands up after turning on my engine and putting my car into drive.

He looked at me, and said "Up the street for another mile and to the right" he looked down "May God wish you with all of the luck he could"

I slowly drove away, as I looked at the road, I heard a loud blast of sound. I instantly hit the break. I look in the mirror and see the dude shooting in the air.

And then the most horrifying thing happened. Something that made me realize that I wasn't dream.

He looked up at the sky, mumbled something and made a cross on his chest.

He then shot himself in the head.

At the moment I knew.

This wasn't a dream.

This was reality.
