Tyler envied lovers quiet some. It's not fair he says to himself. To tell the truth, he's a bit jealous of the people who souls are intertwined, even his parents. He doesn't really care about love. He believes that that specific feeling of emotion isn't for him. It reminded his of the incident that happened 12 years ago. It's actually the fact that lovers can see color and he can't that's makes him jealous.

It's the end of summer. Tyler just graduated four years of College.. Finally. The last eight years of stress and pressure did it's toll on Tyler. He didn't understand the school system at all. Teachers assign you an essay and give you days to complete it saying "you won't be able to finish it in the last minute so get started now." But then they give you several tests throughout the school year where you have to write multiple essays in a few hours. Pretty ironic and misleading.

Back in High school Tyler wasn't known that much other than being in basketball and frankly really good at it (which, thankfully, earned him scholarships for college). Luckily, Tyler wasn't alone in high school like he was in middle school. He had a handful of friends during his four torturous years in High school. He kept his friends close because middle school to him was absolute hell. His best friend was the first person to befriend him one day during the last period they shared freshman year, her name is Jenna. She was shy at first, like Tyler, but they eventually were known as the 'stuck at the hip friends'. Some people thought they were dating each other to which they would both laugh at whenever someone brought it up to them. They knew everything about each other which definitely explains why they protected one another so much since they both struggled with their own demons previous years. Tyler knew that the reason Jenna was sensitive was because of the bullying that was directed towards her in the past. They picked at her because the music she listened to was "too heavy" or "ugly screamo" as her bullies would call it. And Jenna knew that Tyler was alone in past years was because Tyler liked both genders, mostly boys. She didn't mind, she actually dated girls before. One thing she didn't understand was why people bullied others for who they loved. Out in the world, there were LGBT soulmates and that's normal.

Even after High school was over, they luckily attended the same college and were still very very close friends. But things changed. The thing is, Jenna was special now. She found her soulmate three months ago, two weeks after they both graduated college. She tells the story of how they met whenever she possibly can.

"...and then some fuckwad on his skateboard somehow crashed into me, my drawing journal flying outta my hand and landing into a small puddle. Of-fucking-course I was mad and I shouted "hey assface! Watch where you're going!" He looked at me, flipped me off and then suddenly his eyes widened and mouth dropped. He came up to me ask stuttered "d-d-do you see th-that!?" His finger pointing behind me. "How the fuck am i supposed to see whats behind me dipshit" I said to which he replied "Look over, dipshit!" He mimicked me. I turned over my shoulder and there was a cat down the street that was orange! Orange! The first color i saw was orange! It's not the prettiest but it's still amazing. Then slowly but surely all the other colors showed and that's how I met my boyfriend, my soulmate, James. With our similar personalities clashing together, we really are meant to be!"

She found her One True Love. She could see color. Tyler envied her a little. Some days she would go on and on trying to explain colors to Tyler. They were currently at Tyler's house both sitting on the bed with Supernatural playing silently in the background on the tv screen which neither really paid attention to since it was a re-run episode.

"Oh! And don't even get me started with blue! I just can't get over it! It's so warm and powerful at the same time. The way it's the water and the sky i-- the sky! Tyler! The sky! It's always changing and I absolutely live for it!!"

At this point Tyler tuned out her babbling and thought about how he saw the sky, how it was different shades of grey. He hated it. He was jealous. Jenna thought she was doing him a good by talking about colors but Tyler truly hated when she brought colors up. He wouldn't tell her though. She's always gets so excited and wide-eyes and fast-talking when she talks about the colors. He didn't want to take that away from her knowing how easily she can get hurt.

"How are you and James doing?" Tyler asked once Jenna stopped talking.

"We're good. But he got sick two days ago. Actually, we went to the museum last Saturday and the paintings are beautiful. So colorful."

Once again she brought up colors. Tyler sighed.

Jenna noticed and announced "I have a surprise." Before Tyler could respond she flashed tickets in his face. "I got us tickets for the NSN two-day festival!" She shouted with a squeal at the end, bouncing up and down slightly on the bed due to over-excitement.

Tyler hesitated. "Weren't you supposed to take James? He is after all, the one destined for you."

"Yeah well, you know," Jenna paused "he's sick and doesn't want to make it worse or get others sick. Also it might drizzle both days so that's another factor that can worsen his sickness."

Tyler sat up more against the head board of his bed and cleared his throat "You know I don't really like those bands... they're not really my style of music for me" Tyler mimicked the heavy-metal guys by head banging his head. Jenna giggled and lightly pushed Tyler. He acted to be fake hurt and stuck his tongue out. "Ouch, meanny."

"Oh come on, Tyler.... It'll be fun" she said dragging out the 'n' for a bit. "Please, I don't want to take Jessica, she's a cunt who'll be all over some random dude, get high with a stranger or break in half in the mosh pits. Plus, you're my best friend Ty."

"Uhm... And what if I break in half because of the mosh pits or go get high with some stranger?" Tyler questioned playfully.

"You? Tyler? Tyler Robert Joseph, they very shy bean actually socializing and going off into the unkno-"

"Alright alright. I'll go with you." He gave in, waving his hands in the arm defensely. "When is it?"

"Tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?! You're barley telling me this now?"

"It was a last minute thing" she shrugged, playing with the ends of her long natural black hair.

Tyler pinched the bridge of his nose "what if I had plans or work"

"One, you're off the weekends and two, I knew you wouldn't have plans. All you did during the summer breaks was binge watch a show on Netflix."

"Uh, yeah, and you were watching them with me most of the time... wow we really don't have lives."

"And that's why were best friends."

The NSN Festival is like a mini Warpped Tour where 15 - 30 bands will perform. Also, all other bands and band members will exist they way they do in real life. The only difference is that Twenty One Pilots doesn't exist.
