Chapter 8

It has been a week since Tyler met Josh. Also a week since the outburst with Jenna. Aside from that, the two boys have learned a lot more about each other other than the basics.
Tyler didn't have work today but Josh did. Today, Tyler wanted to make up with Jenna. He wanted to give her a little something- a gift that he knew she would like.

Tyler put away his poem journal that he has been working on a bit more than usual. He got his necessities and drove to Guitar Center. Of course he could have gotten Jenna's gift from another store but he wanted to see Josh at work today, even if it was only for a minute.

'Damn. Am I already being too clingy?' Tyler thought as he entered the store.
He looked around and spotted Andrea.
"Josh?" He questioned.

The platinum white haired girl pointed east and said "drum section in a separate drum room."

Tyler nodded as a thank you and walked that direction. In the hall he heard the drums being drummed. Loudly. Tyler knew it was Josh because he had mentioned to Tyler that he plays during his free time and obviously because Andrea told him.

'Damn.'

Tyler didn't know that Josh was this good. He stood at the doorway, which was behind Josh, and leaned against the entrance frame. He watched as Josh drummed with the music that was playing in the headphones he was wearing. After listening and watching (a/n like a fricking creep), Tyler walked to the other side of the room, front of Josh. This got Josh's attention. He stopped drumming and took off the headphones. "Oh, hey. Did you just get here or...?" Josh questioned.

"I was listening to you play. You're pretty good. Lets start a band, become famous and tour with Fall Out Boy or Panic!." Tyler joked.

Josh chuckled. "That'll be the life." He stood up from the drum set and placed the drum sticks where they belonged. "May I help you with something or are you just here to see me?"

"Both." Tyler admitted. " I need a record. Either 'Wiped Out!' or 'I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It'.. damn that's a mouthful title."

"So The Neighbourhood or The 1975." Josh stated shifting his position to the other side.

"You know music and bands well." Tyler commented.

"Well it is sorta my job, Ty." Josh smiled and winked at the boy across the room. "I believe we have both actually. Follow." Josh said as he lead the way out of the drum room and entered the section with the Vinyl records stand was.

After looking through the many bins that held records, Josh handed Tyler the two records.

"There's two records cds in both of them meaning that there is like 3 or 4 songs per side." Josh mentioned.

"Thank you Jish." Tyler said with a smile, crinkling his nose.

He placed the records on a shelf just so that the two could hug. After a short while, they untangled their arms from each other and Tyler faced Josh and his smile.

Man, did Tyler love Josh's smile. The way it made his nose squench up and the way his milky chocolate eyes seemed to be swallowed behind eyelids and the crows feet marks that formed at the corners on Josh's eyes. And I can't forget to mention that Tyler would literally melt whenever Josh's tongue would find itself in between the white teeth. It was a small detail, but Tyler sure noticed it.

"I gotta get going. I'm giving these to my friend and hopefully she accepts them as an apology." Tyler said as he got the records from the shelf and held them in a hugging way.

"An apology?" Josh questioned, raising his eyebrows.

Tyler shifted, "Uh, yeah. I said some rude things to her; I exploded when I shouldn't have." He started to rub one of his arms with his other hand.
