October 21... 2 months

Tyler boringly sighed. He was at work and not many people were coming to Moonbeans today. Tyler stood behind the counter and scrolled through his phone.

'I shouldn't be here. Nobody is coming to order coffee or a cold drink in this weather. I should be with Josh. Today is our second month together, and yet here I am, stuck at work.' Tyler mindlessly thought.

"On you phone, Joseph?" A strong sturdy, yet feminine voice erupted causing Tyler to startle and practically slam his phone down on the counter. When he looked up, Itzel stood there with someone new, hands locked together.

"Y-you're back!"

"Did I scare you, haha. Crack your phone screen, Tyler, why don't you." She sassed. "You better not have been slacking off while I was away." She pointed her finger.

"I wasn't, there's hardly any business today, that's all."

She hummed then leaned over to whisper something into the strangers ear. He walked away and sat in a comforter chair.

"Can you see color?" Tyler asked as Itzel walked around and behind the counter to check up on things.

"Yeah." She said lowly. "It's amazing, something new."

"So, that's Ethan?" Tyler quizzed.

She frowned at Tyler and let out a long, low sigh. "I was wrong, Tyler." She leaned against the counter and crossed her arms over her tummy.

Tyler tensed up. Itzel looked destroyed. He has never seen her like this before. "W-wh-"

"That's Grayson." She said, nodding in the direction to the boy.

"Grayson?" Tyler looked over his shoulder and at the boy who was on his phone.

"Ethan's twin brother."

Tyler snapped his head around and faced Itzel with wide eyes, almost choking on his spit. "What!" He whisper-shouted. Jaw staying slack.

Itzel bit her lip to hold back a smile. She also tried to hide behind her side-swept bangs.

Tyler noticed and furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"

"Psyche!" She shouted, almost an octave lower than her normal voice, causing Tyler to jump. "I'm just fucking with you, Joseph." She said while she waved over at the boy to call him over.

Upon arriving, he asked, "Did it work?"

"Yeah, he looked like a dear caught in the headlights." She giggled.

"Savage."

Tyler stood there, still a little bit confused but also embarrassed for how gullible he seemed.

"This is Ethan." Itzel gestured to the boy with a jawline for days. "Ethan, this is Tyler. He has worked here for a few years now."

"So there's no twin?" Tyler questioned, slightly shaking his head.

"Oh, there is, but Itzel wanted to play a joke on you." Ethan spoke and wrapped one of his arm around Itzel and pulled her closer.
