Ace's POV

I wake up with Jinx next to me sleeping ever so peacefully. God I am so fucking lucky to have won her heart. I feel like I am the luckiest man alive with her by my side. She means everything to me; she is my everything in fact. At this point she has slowly become my other half. I can't function without her.

I start kissing her all over her face and neck to wake her up. She stirs in her sleep for a bit before her eyes flutter open, and I am blessed with her beautiful electric blue eyes.

"Good morning gorgeous." I smile, and she rolls her eyes.

"Cliche much?" She laughed getting out of the bed. I just smiled and got up. I went behind her and wrapped my arms around her waste.

"Only for you, my love." I smiled in the crook of her neck. She let her head fall back into me and I could tell she was smiling.

"Tonight at 8 pm be dressed casual. I'm taking you somewhere." She whispered. I nodded.

"But right now I wanna show you something so get dressed dork." She said walking to the closet for her clothes, and I do the same.

"Where are we?" I ask. She ignores me and walks into the abandoned building. When we are inside she walks around and looks everywhere like she's trying to find something or someone.

"Babe? You're confusing me." I said. She quietly laughed for a quick second before going emotionless.

"I want you to look at this place;" She pause looking around. "look at what happened, and think." She said, and I looked around till I saw a huge whole in the wall.

"Oh my god, what happened?" I asked shocked. She just chuckled lightly.

"4 years ago today, my father crashed into this build and was shot. The most fucked up part about this though was that his night that night was not supposed to go like this. It was supposed to be a night for him and the bitch who thought she was my mother to both have their 25th anniversary dinner in peace, but he was the gang leader of the toughest gang around. He paid the ultimate price for what he was." She paused taking a breath.

"Do you know what it feels like to come home, and get the call saying your father had been shot? I took Hunter to the scene, and my father was seconds away from dying. You know what his last words were?" She asked. I shook my head.

"What were they?" I asked. She laughed slightly again.

"'Jinx, one day you'll find true love. You just won't know it when you see it at first, but it's there. I love you baby, and take care of your brother.' I will never forget that day and what he told me." She said. I looked at her confused.

"So why did you bring me here?" I asked. She walked closer to me.

"Because his last words were true. You," She paused poking my chest. "You the true love he said I'd find. I thought it was a lie until you came along, and showed me what true love is. My father would've loved you." She smiled. I pulled her close for a hug.

I looked around and saw something. I intertwined Jinx and I's hands and went to see what it was.

"What the hell?" She growled.

"Jinx, darling it's been so long." The woman said. Jinx just growled.

"Charlotte." Jinx growled. The lady just chuckled.

"Now now Jinx that's no way to greet your mother." She taunted. This lady is playing with fucking fire, and she's bound to get burnt.

"You may be my mother by blood, but no mother would treat me the way you treated me." Jinx growled squeezing my hand while her other hand formed a fist. Charlotte rolled her eyes.

"I was nothing but nice to you." She smiled a sickening sweet smile. Jinx went for her knife. I bet your thinking I stopped her; nope I didn't. Jinx had the right to do whatever she wanted to her mother. The stories her and Hunter told gave logical reasons for whatever she plans on doing.

Jinx quickly slashed her mother's throat, and then set her pants on fire.

"Liar liar pants on fire." She said walking away from the scene, and running for the exit.

"Hunter kept telling me how you've been progressing in life." Charlotte chocked, and Jinx slowly turned around.

"Hunter knew you were still alive, and he didn't tell me?!?" She asked. Her mother nodded, and those were her last words. Pretty weird if you ask me. Jinx ran towards the exit only this time with a murderous glint in her gorgeous eyes.

I sighed and followed along. Hunter is probably going to die today.

Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'll love posting another chapter this afternoon. I'm sorry to those who really like this book, but it's coming to an end. If enough people want a sequel I will probably end up writing one for you guys.

My surgery is going to be very soon, so I'm going to be very inactive. I'm hoping that I'll end the story before I go in though.
