I knew you were gonna be there

Chapter 17

We headed down to the Muckalee Creek in Luke's truck. We pulled up next to the water and Luke got out and dropped the tail gate. In the back he had pillows and blankets and a picnic basket that obviously his Mama had made up. He helped me up on to the back of the truck and handed me a glass of sweet tea. He opened up the basket and there was chicken, salads and rices, it all looked really good. We sat for ages talking and eating and occasionally making out.
"Baby this is fantastic, it's so peaceful here" she said
"That's why I love it, I have done a lot of thinking down here. When we first split up I spent a lot of time here, thinking about how much I fucked up" I told her
"I never knew baby I'm sorry I never gave you a chance to explain" she said
"That's in the past, let's look to the future" I said as I lay her down in the back of my truck. There was no one around for miles, this was my secret spot.
"Luke what are you doing, someone will see us" she said As I started kissing her neck, finding her sweet spot.
"Baby don't worry about it, no one will see us, this is my secret spot." I said in between kisses
"Well in the case, come here" she said kissing me passionately.
An hour or so later, after having the best sex I have had we lay in each other's arms in the back of my truck.
"That was brilliant baby, if that's what you can do after being away I think you should go away more often" she said
"You would miss me too much." I said kissing her head.
"Your right I would" she replied
"I think we should start making our way the cinema, if we wanna catch the start of the movie" I said
We cleared up the stuff and I helped Caroline down from the back of my truck and into the passenger seat. We headed to Albany to the cinema. The movie was really good considering it was a chick flick. We drive back to mamas but we stopped off at Dairy Queen on the way home and got us all ice creams. I pulled into my drive and Mama was sitting in the porch
"Ah here are the lovebirds, supper will be in twenty minutes why don't y'all put the ice creams in the freezer and get washed up, I will call y'all when it's ready" she said
"Yes ma'am" I said kissing her in the cheek. I loved my Mama will all my heart. She was such a sweetheart and an awesome cook.
Caroline headed upstairs and I said
"You know to save time we could shower together"
"Luke your mama is downstairs"
"And, she probably thinks we are already in it. Come on, I need to be in you again" I said laughing
"Thomas Luther Bryan, I can't believe you said that" she said shocked
"Don't pretend you are embarrassed you know you want me" I said laughing
"Your right come on, we need to be quick"
We both ripped out clothes off and jumped in the shower, ten minutes later I had had my fill.
"The quick enough baby"
She laughed and we got ready and headed downstairs.
"So Luke, did you and Caroline enjoy your shower, because I sure sounded like you did" mama said. I turned and looked at Caroline, her face was scarlet, mine wasn't much better,
"Eh eh I don't know what ...,,."
"Boy don't even attempt to lie"she said laughing.
I didn't even have an answer, I just got up and wrapped my arms around Caroline and said
"Well mama do you blame me, look and her she is gorgeous"
"No baby boy I don't, know come help your mama dish up,  and Caroline honey can you set the table"
"Of course mama" she said
We all sat round the table and I said grace. I thanked the lord for everything he gave me and for anything that was to happen in the future.
We tucked in and it was fantastic. I was having a fantastic time, but the worry of leaving was playing on my mind. Tomorrow morning was gonna be hard.
