Chapter 42

Luke's POV
I woke up around 8am, whatever the doc gave me knocked me out. I looked over and saw someone sleeping in the corner of my bus
"Caroline" I said
"Sorry Luke it's me Kerrie" she said.
I lay back down and the tears started again. Kerrie came over to my side and put her arm around me
"Luke everything will work out fine, I actually think you may have been set up by little miss Chloe, as our people did a search on her and not long after the story was published she deposited a rather large cheque from and well know paparazzi" she said
"I need to tell Caroline" I said jumping up
"Luke let her be she needs to sort this out herself" she said
"Kerrie I need her here I don't even know where my wife and son are" I said
"Luke trust me please"
Just as she said that a truck pulled up next to my tour bus, I recognised the plates it was Caroline.
"Kerrie she's here" I said jumping up and running to the door.
I opened the door and Caroline was getting out
"Baby I am so sorry it's all be a set up that little bitch set me up" I said hugging her.
She hugged me back
"Luke I know Kerrie told me all about it, come let's get inside and talk about it"
I got Bo out the truck and held him close as I took him inside
"Kerrie can you look after him for a bit so Caroline and I can have a chat" I asked
"No problem, take your time, I will look after this gorgeous little man" she said taking him out the bus.
Caroline sat down on the sofa and I hovered,
"Luke quit pacing will ya, just sit here" she said patting the seat next to her
"Baby I swear I never did anything but be sincere to one of my fans"
"I know baby, on the long drive here I did some digging, and the photographer is an old boyfriend of mine, well not a boyfriend as such, well you know what I mean, and he set you up"
She said
"Was it Blake?"
"No baby you don't know him he was new to town, you had already moved away" she said
"Well what do we do now, I mean are we ok" I asked sheepishly
"Baby we are better than ok, we can talk with Kerrie and see if she can arrange a press conference clear your name" she said
"Ok. Baby can I have a hug please, I have been so lost I thought I had lost you again"
"Luke you can have more than a hug, Kerrie has Bo so lock up the door and let's have some fun, I love you with all my heart now let me show you how ok we are"
She walked towards the bedroom dropping her sundress as she went
"You don't need to ask me twice baby"
