I was playing video games with Fred, when I heard the door open then closed. I glanced at who it was and it was Eli.
"Hi Eli." I said looking at the screen, trying not to lose my conciteation.
"Who's this?" He asked bitterly.
I paused the game. "Aww!" Fred said with disappointment.
"I was about to beat you." He whine.
"You have no proof." I said.
Then I looked back at Eli, he was glaring at Fred. I cleared my throat. He stopped and looked at me.
"Anyway." I got up and Fred followed my lead.
"Eli this is Fred and Fred this is Eli." I said.
"Nice to meet you Eli Shane." He said with sparkle in his eyes.
"You too." Said Eli looking at me then back to him.
"Hey Trixie. I have some news to tell you about." He just looked at Eli. "Alone." He said.
"Okay." Eli said with his hands up in defet and went outside the door.
We took a seat on the couch. "I got a promotion!"
"Oh my god! Good for you." I gave him a huge.
"Remember Kayla?" He said blushing.
"Who. Your girlfriend." I said pocking him with my elbow.
He laughed. "Yes her."
He took out a blue box. Which is Kayla's favorite color.
"I want to ask her to marry me. Do you think she will say yes?"
"Really?" I asked with a face.
"What?" He was confused now.
"Oh couse! She will marry you! You guys have been through a lot together. When are you going to ask her?"
"Tonight. During dinner."
"I know she will say yes. Can I see the ring?" I asked.
He opened the box and it was a 3 carret gold ring.
"It's beautiful."
"Thanks. I should go now and get ready. Bye."
"Bye." I said.
He went out the door.
Eli came in.
"Oh hey Eli." I said happily.
He just muttered something under his breath and walked away.
I had a confused face on.
I went up and followed him. I put my hand on his shoulder.
"You okay?" I asked concerned.
"Why don't you ask your fiancé." He answered bitterly. Removing my hand off his shoulder.
"My fiancé?" I asked confused.
"Leave me alone." He walked up the stairs.
"Eli. I damanded "What's up with you? You have been acting like this ever since Fred walked in."
"I saw it through the window, Trixie!" He said.
"He wasn't proposing! He is going to! To his girlfriend!" I yelled at him as I went up the stairs to face him.
His face went blank. "Oh."
"Ya. 'Oh'" When I was about to walk way from him.
He grabbed my arm. And whispered in my ear. "I thought I was going to lose you."
I gave him a hug.
"You are not going to lose me." I whispered to his ear.
He hugged back.
"When the day comes. We are going to have another Shane."
I just blushed.
"I will look forward to that day."
