I went down stairs to the living room and found Pronto and Kord fighting for the remote of who should watch TV. I just sat on the couch and wanted to see who will win.
Turns out Pronto won.
I was surprised, but not really.
He cheated.
I went outside and found Trixie under a lemon tree. Not too far from the hideout. When I got closer, she was on her tablet. I went and sat next to her. She didn't knowist, she had all of her attention on the tablet.
I tapped on her shoulder and she jumped.
"You scared me." She said.
"Sorry."
She laughed. "Its okay."
"What you doing?" I asked as I looked at her tablet.
"Oh. Since they were fighting for the TV. I wasn't able to watch the game, so I checking the score."
"Did your team win?"
"Yep."
"Cool."
"So who won the remote?"
"Do you really think I would watch them fight." I said pretending to sound affended.
She raised her eyebrow.
"Fine I did. And Pronto won."
"Did he cheat again?"
"Yep."
She smirked.
When I placed my hand down, I felt her small hand under it.
We both saw our hands touching.
But we didn't let go or move.
We both lean in. I closed my eyes as I did. I got something in my mouth. I opened my eyes and saw a lemon?🍋
She was gone and I heard the door closed shut.
I took out the lemon and their was writing on it. It said:
Good try. But you need to try harder, if you want me. I am not that easy to get. You should already know that. Love you E.
