We walked in silence. She walked with me with one hand on her mecha. It was a sabertooth tiger, but it was purple and metal.
"What's its name?" I asked her breaking the silence.
"Boomer." She answered.
"I never learned your name." I said trying to see her face from the hood.
She blushed at she brought the hood down even more from me seeing her face.
The only thing I was able to see was her light tan skin, her red lips, and half of her nose. But that is all.
She had long boots that mostly covers up the front of her legs with metal on her knees and up words with straps going behind it for it to stay on. And she had black jeans under it. The armer on her legs were painted with many designs of the color glay with green and red designs. And she had a hood on her chest going to her back to hang and over her head. She had leather fingerless gloves with it high to her elbows. Armer on her chest under the hood and she was wearing a green shirt under her armer. Some of her hair showed out from her hood and the rest probably was hiding under that hood of hers.
"I'm not allowed to share that information. Not until I know you are not one of them." She said.
"One of what?" I asked.
"The Rebels(it is not star wars BTW). So you are going to come with me to see for our selves so we know we can trust you."
"Wait 'we'?" I asked. I looked at Burpy he still shrugged and chirped as saying, "Don't look at me."
She nodded, "Yes me and The Snake. We are the heroes in the shadows."
"Wait so The Shane isn't the only hero around here?"
"Nope. But since the Shane is gone it has gone out of balance."
"How do you know m-he is gone?" I didn't want her to know I am the actual Shane, yet. And that the person I am talking about is my father.
"We have searched. Anyway we are here."
She stopped and we looked forward it was a warehouse.
....
We walked down the hill to the front door. She knocked. A small door opened that only showed two brown eyes.
"Password."
"We are the heroes in the shadows, risking our lives for the greater good."
She closed the small window then opened the door.
"Come on." She told me.
I walked in. Everyone looked our way, their were weapons everywhere. And slugs.
Burpy waved at them as they waved back. I smiled at Burpy them payed attention to where I was going.
I guess this is The Snake. I wonder who is the leader.
Then a woman walked in the room, everyone got in position.
She had purple hair and blue eyes with gold long boots, black jean, white shirt that is long in the back so it looks like a cape. And a white hood with blue arrows on top.
"Who is the boy?" She boomed. "Who brought him here?!" That startled Burpy that he went and hide in my hoodie.
"I did." Said the girl with the hood who brought me here. "He was in the woods."
Everyone looked at me, oh great...
"Do you think he is a rebel?" Asked the leader.
"I don't know yet. That is why I brought him here so he can do a test."
"Proceed."
She grabbed my hand that I felt heat up in my cheeks and I saw her a bit red as well. And she led me away from the crowd to a room.
