*Blake's POV*
I can't keep falling for her. I can't. But the more I stay away it hurts her and I don't want to do that. The more I hurt her the more she hates me. And I'm fine with that. As long as she's ok in the long run.
I walk around the corner of the school and I see her talking to someone. A guy. I was jealous of course but if she can forget about me the better honestly. I could hurt her, more than I already have. I can't stand seeing her upset especially because of me. Instead of walking over to her and talking to her. I walked right by not paying any attention to her.

*Embers POV*

I know he's here. He's always here at this time. Never too early not too late. I know he seen me talking to Mason but seriously? Nothing. Just walking by and not paying attention to me?
"Did you hear Em?"
"No sorry. I guess I dozed off." I replied.
"I asked if you wanted to go out sometime?" He asked.
"Uhhhh I don't know Mason." I said unsure.
"Well if you want to ever, then just give me a call K?" He have me his number.
"Yeah. I will." Then I waved goodbye and headed to class. I have to get my mind off of Blake, and if Mason is the only way to then I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I mean what harm will it do? Who am I kidding? A lot of harm would be done. But if he's not going to try then why should I hold onto something that's being held together by a thin strand of thread. There's no point. I'm not going to try unless he doesn't.
After school ends I head home. And I do something that I actually thought I'd never do.
"Hello?" He answered. Thank god.
"Hey it's Ember, that offer still on the table for going out?"
