After that day, she knew that she wasn't going to give up, it didn't matter if he kept pushing her away she'd get to where they were before. It was her goal and she's not going to give up. Not again. He knew she knew who he was, but he couldn't help but feel like that it was okay that she knew. Considering the fact that she had a feeling it was Blake all along, however that doesn't mean she fully remember him. He's trying to stay unnoticed by her but as persistent as Ember is, she won't give up so easily not on him at least. She won't let him get away again not when she's getting close to him now; making new memories, ones she knows she's not going to forget. She's acting like she she still doesn't remember anything so he doesn't leave her again. She knew she couldn't let him do it again. Ember knew she couldn't lose her best friend again.
Once the day ends Ember goes home and thinks about what happened. She had a feeling she knew Blake the entire time but she chose to ignore until today. She ever had any reason to believe he was apart of her life until now, she always knew him as the quiet outcast. But now she realizes he's so much more than what he made her believe, he's more than what others described him to be, he's more than what she wanted to believe. She knew he means more to her than she had originally thought. Her thoughts clouded over and she was locked in a daydream about how different things would be if he found out she gained her memories back or at least starting to. She can't let him leave, she has to hold on as tight as she can so he doesn't slip through her fingers again. Ember knew she won't make that mistake again, as far as she thinks, Blake the most important person in her life now and she doesn't want to let go; she's afraid of letting go, to her letting go means giving up and she is not the type to give up. Not when he's so close yet so far now. The moment her grip is tight as it can be around Blake, he better realize that she's not leaving ever again; that's something he can never undo.
