They Eventually made it back to Embers place. Walking through door they find that her place has been destroyed.
"Are you shitting me right now? Literally gone for a couple hours and this is what they do. I'm done, I'm done." Ember turns around to walk out the door.
"Nu-uh nope get your ass back inside, just because your house is a mess doesn't mean you can't go inside. You just have to pick it up." Ember groaned and turned to walk inside, "Fine but both of you are helping me."
Blake picked up the kitchen, Nico did the living room and for obvious reasons Ember picked up her room. She did her laundry and took out the trash, they picked up anything that was broken and threw it out.

After about three hours of cleaning the house they started working on how to fix this mess.
"Ok so Nico do you have anything on these guys or is it just what it is and see how plays out sort of thing."
"Honestly they change their tactics every time something like this happens. But since you know I don't think they know how to go about to this."
"What do you mean?"
"The last time this happened with my son, they exiled him and he tried to find his love every single time he lived right?" They both nodded listening intently then he continued. "My son was supposed to be reincarnated to find who he loved only to die when he got close enough or his partner died when he got close enough. Your situation is completely different. Blake, you were sent down to protect Ember for whatever reason. You erased her memories of you." Ember cut him off.
"Which by the way I'm still mad about."
"I said I was sorry."
"Guys!" Nico raised his voice. "Back to the topic at hand. When you erased her memories of you, you kept her safe for a long time. You even avoided her so they thought you were just going to sit back and help from afar, until Ember started remembering again. So now they have no idea to go about this. So I'm thinking if you guys can avoid each other for a while at least in public and keep acting like you don't know Blake; I'm thinking that will give us enough time to figure out how to stop them."
Both Ember and Blake nodded agreeing with him.
"Wait how am I supposed to act like I don't Blake anymore? Just act like he erased my memories again?" Nico smiled and nodded then said "That's exactly what you're gonna do."

This sucks, Ember thought walking to school. "How the hell am I supposed to ignore him? Dude has been superglued to my hip since he's gotten here. Even before he erased my memories dammit." She exclaimed to herself, throwing her arms around. Continuing her way to the door of the school, she felt someone watching her, she pulled out her phone to text Blake.

Hey are you watching me rn? Sent-
Ember locked her phone and tucked it into her jacket pocket. Not too long after Blake texted back.
No, I'm already inside. Read-
Almost immediately he sent another text.
Do you need me to come outside? I can watch from a distance. Read-

Wait a couple minutes. It'd be suspicious if you came out right away. Sent-
Ember made it to the door and walked inside before Blake had the chance to come outside. She looked up from the door after she walked through, immediately her eyes found Blake at his locker watching the doors for her. She let out a sigh of relief, and made her way to first period.

Once it was lunch time the two made sure to keep their distance only sitting a few tables away from each other. Making eye contact every 15-20 minutes at a time, and once lunch was over they went their separate ways until the end of the day.
In study hall, they sat by each other for their project.
"So how's it been the rest of the day? And creepy feeling?" Blake whispered.
She turns to look at him, "No I haven't, except for this morning." He nodded.
"That's good. So we just act like we're studying and once that bell rings we dip and take opposite directions." Ember nodded and looked at her history book.
When the bell rang Ember grabbed her stuff and bolted out the doors and made her way home, not caring about the rest of the day. Blake stayed behind to not raise any suspicions.

When Ember made it home, Nico was sitting at the table eating a sandwich.
"Did anything happen when I left?"
He shook his head, "No I put protection ward around your house, so you both will be safe when Blake is here, but he still has to keep his distance. He can't be here too often." She nodded in understanding and walked up to her room and shut the door.

Nico sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "I don't know how long I can keep doing this."

I am so sorry I haven't been active, there's been some family things going on. I will try to update more once everything is calmed down. But have this little chapter as an apology. I love you guys and I'll see you soon.✌️
