                         Chapter Ten
                          Last Breath

Leslie

After showing Trevor a few buildings, I decided to pop up on Talon. It was six o'clock, I knew that he was fresh off of work. I was a little nervous. No scratch that, I was hella' nervous. I didn't even know what I would say. Well...here goes nothing...

I stepped out of my car, fixing my hair. I was dressed in ripped jeans, a white tank top, and all black Nike Air Max. It was warm outside so I decided to enjoy it.

I rung Talon's doorbell, waiting for him to answer. I paced back and forth, fiddling with my fingers.

The door opened, revealing a sexy, sexy man. Talon. He stood there shirtless, with gray sweats on. "Hey stranger."

I tried to keep my eyes off of the print of his thick shaft between his legs. "Hey Talon, can I come in?"

"Sure." He opened the door wider.

I stepped into the cozy house, going straight to the couch. I sat down, relaxing a little. "I got your message yesterday. I wanted to come and talk about it face to face."

Talon sat down next to me. "How do you feel about it?"

"What you said was very sweet." I smiled at him. "But Talon I need you to understand something. I don't play games. So if you're-"

"Stop right there." He interrupted me. "I don't play games either Leslie. I'm not none of the niggas you've dealt with. I'm gonna treat you how a queen should be treated. I'm not gonna cheat on you and have you out here lookin' crazy. You're amazing and I want you to myself. I wanna show you how real love feels. By a real man. I can't promise that we won't have problems, but I can promise that I won't break your heart. Like I said, all I need is one chance to show you."

I swallowed hard. My body was on fire.  I was so turned on for some apparent reason. In despite of my personal issues and bad relationship experiences, I felt like giving Talon a chance was only right. What did I have to lose?

"Okay." I shrugged my shoulders, smirking a little.

    Talon raised his eyebrows. "Fa'real?"

   "Yes, fa'real Talon." I giggled.

He gently grabbed my face, poking my lips. I slowly slid my tongue into his mouth. Our tongues swirled together in sync. He pulled away slowly, sucking on my bottom lip.

"Can't be doin' that shit Leslie." Talon licked his lips, looking at me.

"That's all you." I stood up. "Do you want to go to my mom's house with me?"

"Yeah, let me throw on a shirt."

"Throw on some more pants while you at it. Those are too revealing."

Talon shook his head, chuckling. "Okay baby."

I sat in the car while waiting for Talon to come out. I couldn't believe that I was doing the relationship thing again. Relationships are scary once you fall in love. You don't know if y'all will last forever or end up going separate ways. And I hate starting over. I hoped that I didn't end up getting played.

Talon came out dressed in a blue Nike hoodie, jeans, blue Nike socks, and black Nike slides. He's always matching.

"So, why you been so distant these past few days?" Talon asked as he slid in on the passenger's side.
