The adventure of the new digidestined children

Chapter 8

They kept on walking through town, dodging every running Digimon they saw.

"You sure he's here?" Freya asked unsure

"Well, I never said I was sure. I just said it was the first place to look." Tentomon answered

"Then we better start looking. If they have Lord Seraphimon who knows what they'll do to him." Dorumon said scared as Audrey picked Reagan up and David picked Marco up since they were to tired to walk.

Regina spotted something from the corner of her eye.

"Slaves for sale! Buy 2 get 1 free!"

"How about there?" She asked pointing towards the sign hanging on top of a door.

"Um.... We'll just wait outside. You know, in case something happens." Eli and Freya stated as the boys nodded near them.

"Alright then. Wait here." Audrey ordered before Regina, Dorumon, Catellamon and her walked into the bar.

There, they were surrounded by multiple Digimons. Some in chains and others holding the end of the chain.

"Now. For the next auction. This little guy was a tough one to catch. Especially cause of his horn. This feisty little Digimon is Hopmon. Might not look like it but he turns into one of the most uncontrollable force you have ever seen. He will turn into Cybrdramon!"

There stood the same baby Digimon that Regina fed a while ago.

"The bidding will start at 1000 digits." One of the auctioneers shouted as the digimons started bidding.

"I bid 1100 digits!" A random Digimon shouted

"2000 digits!" Another shouted

"3000!" Another shouted again

"5000!"

"6000!"

"7000!"

"Do we have any money with us?" Regina asked Audrey as they big started looking in their bag for their wallet.

When they found it, the money inside was no longer their currency. Instead it was replaced by 5000 digits per paper and since they each had 10 pieces of paper, they were able to save him.

"Instead of keeping the money. We're wasting it." Audrey muttered turning her attention back to the auction.

"10000!" Another random Digimon shouted as everyone turned to look at him shocked.

Besides them, the girls could here the last Digimon who spoke mutter something along the lines of "No one would be dumb to bid over that."

"Well. He's right about this being dumb. But let's go anyway." Audrey muttered to Regina who nodded.

"15000!" Regina shouted as everything became quiet. All the Digimon were shocked to see a human, bidding for a Digimon, over 10000 digits.

"I would like to buy him." Regina said sternly as the auctioneer looked dumbfound but then recovered and said

"15000 going once, going twice... sold to the human."

They then brought the small Digimon off stage and continued on with the bidding.

"I'll go backstage and get him. You wanna come or.." Regina trailed off as Audrey just shook her head and sat back down.

After another 3 biddings there was something, or rather someone who caught her eyes.
