Chapter 13

"Who's strong enough to bust this door open, without digivolving?" Audrey asked them

"I can." Gaomon stated proudly before he hit his fist to the door.

"Gao punch!" He shouted but nothing happened.

"Grrr... Gao punch, Gao punch!" He kept shouting until he finally got tired.

"Okay that's not working... we need something different." Dracomon suggested as David took out a card from his deck.

"Digimodify! Power card activate!" He shouts sliding the card to the slot as Dracomon started to gain power.

"Baby breath!" Dracomon stated as he fired a ball of fire towards the door. But the fire just bounced back and recoiled towards Dracomon who ducked in return dodging the ball, just barely.

"Anything other ideas?" Regina asked as Freya and Eli looked at each other before nodding and taking out a pin.

"What's that going to do?" Audrey asked confused as Eli brought out her laptop and plugged it into a key slot in the middle of the door.

"I don't know how that fits but okay." Kevin said as Eli and Freya began to work. Soon enough, the cogs and locks on the door started turning and bit by bit the door started opening, revealing a golden suite.

"This is cool!" Betamon stated as he walked into the suite.

When they all got in, the doors behind them suddenly closed and all the lights turned off.

"Hey! Who shut the lights?!" Freya asked angrily as a spotlight was turned on towards a corner which had a stage.

There stood the ruler of Tundra Town, Etemon.

"Cha! Cha! Cha! Puppetmon told me you were coming..." he stated smugly as he posed.

"Well we defeated him, we can also defeat you." David said proudly as he crossed his arms.

"You didn't defeat me you impudent child. That was only a part of me." A voice shouted angrily as Puppetmon came out.

"What?! I thought you were dead?! This isn't fair!" Eli stated angrily crossing her arms.

"Why don't we make a deal...eh?" Etemon proposed

"What sort of deal?" Regina asked him

"Well. A deal that will satisfy both you and me." Etemon answered her before pointing at the Digimon guardians.

"I take the Digimon and you and the rest of the kids go back to the real world using the portal." Etemon stated as Regina looked at the Digimon and then back at him.

"All you need to do is shake my hand." He said holding out his hand.

"What will that do?" Audrey asked

"You see... my hand activates the portal. Once it is activated I can take you to wherever you want." Etemon answered as he waited.

Regina looked at the Digimon then back at Etemon and sighed.

"You promise?" She asked Etemon as he nodded. This caused all the Digimons eyes to widen in shock and betrayal.

"Regina! Think this through! Please!" Dorumon pleaded

"Yeah! You can't hand us over!" Catellamon stated

"It's time to go home." Regina said as she walked towards Etemon.

"That's nice. Come and get it." Etemon smirked as Regina took his hand, once they both had a firm grip, Regina smirked.

"Psych!" She said as she flipped Etemon by the shoulder as he landed on his back.

"Oh! That must hurt!" Eli and Freya laughed as Audrey smirked and the boys cheered.

"You mean, you weren't going to leave us?" Dorumon asked confused

"Course not. You Digimon are just way too easy to persuade." Regina answered simply

"That's offensive." Tentomon stated

"Don't take it personally." David said as Etemon slowly got back up.

"This ain't over yet digidestined." Etemon smirked as he clicked his fingers, thousands of Digimon appeared growling at them.
