The adventure of the new digidestined children

Chapter 29

"Tell NO one about this." Audrey earned as they nodded.

It was finally time for them to go continue on their journey. They packed their things and exit the room going to the lobby only to find the boys and their Digimons already there.

"What took you guys so long?" David asked

"Stuff." Eli answered as she gave both keys to the receptionist.

"We better get out of here then." Regina said as they walked out of the tavern. Eli and Freya suddenly stopped halfway.

"We can't." They stated as everyone except Regina and Audrey looked confused.

"Go ahead. We'll give you five minutes." Regina said as the two girls smiled and nodded running back into the tavern.

"What was that all about?" Kevin asked as Regina shook her head.

"They wanna let Candlemon and Terriermon join us on our journey." Audrey explained as the boys nodded, understanding.

-with Eli and Freya-
They searched everywhere for them but couldn't find the two Digimon they were looking for.

That was until they heard someone familiar.

"Look what the trash brought in. More trash."

"Please I don't wanna fight! Stay away!" Candlemon! They had recognized his voice straight away and was now heading towards the source of the sound.

When they got there, they saw Candlemon trying to protect an already very injured Terriermon who was trying to get up.

"Candlemon!/Terriermon!" Eli and Freya shouted simultaneously.

"Aw... the little girlies have come to save them!" One of the bullies smirked as they other bullies laughed at the size of Eli and Freya compared to them.

"Do you trust me, Terriermon?" Freya asked as Terriermon looked up at her.

"Do you trust me?" She asked again as Terriermon smiled and nodded.

"Good. Let's go then. Kotemon, you with me?" Freya looked towards the masked Digimon who nodded getting into a fighting position.

"Please. Don't fight. There has to be another way." Candlemon reasoned

"Sometimes in life you have to fight. Or else you never get what you want." Eli explained as Candlemon looked shocked.

"So you with me and Tentomon or not?" She asked as Candlemon reluctantly nodded.

"Alright then." Eli smirked as she and Freya each took a card from their deck.

"Digimodify! Power card activate!" They both shouted as they slid the card over the slot.

All four Digimons suddenly started gaining more energy.

"Yeah! This is what I'm talking about! You're about to taste my power! Terrier tornado!" Terriermon shouted enthusiastically as he started spinning very fast and moved towards the bullies, still spinning.

He managed to knock out 2 of the bullies out of 10 of them.

"Super shocker!" Tentomon shouted firing electricity towards three of the bullies also knocking them out.

"They're really weak." Eli commented as Freya nodded in agreement.

Kotemon hit another three of them knocking the bullies unconscious.

"Come on Candlemon! Show them what you've got." Terriermon cheered as Candlemon looked uncertain.

"Candlemon. You can do this. Don't be scared." Eli stated as Candlemon looked at her then looked at the two remaining bullies in fear.

"Don't focus on them. Focus on your goal. Defeat them. Overcome the fear." Eli told him as the candle Digimon nodded bravely.

"Lava Loogie!" He shouted as he fired a ball of fire towards one of the bullies.

When the ball hit the bully it suddenly exploded and the bully fainted from the hit.

"Grrr... let's see how well you do without those humans." The final bully smirked as he disappeared and reappeared behind Eli and Freya grabbing both of them before disappearing again and despairing in his previous position, the girls in his hands.

"Let them go!" Kotemon ordered

"Or what?" He asked tauntingly

"Or this." A familiar voice answered as a ball of metal hit him.

"You mess with my family and her friends, you're in trouble." Another familiar voice stated as needles started shooting towards the bully holding Eli and Freya.

"Finish the job."

Soon after that, Seadramon appeared and wrapped around the last bully, making him let go of the girls, who ran back to their Digimons.

"Ice blast!" Seadramon shouted freezing the last Digimon. He soon unwrapped himself from the frozen Digimon and turned back into Betamon. He then waddled back to Kevin.

"How'd you guys know we needed help?" Eli asked confused

"We didn't we just knew that you two never go pass the curfew anyone gives you." Audrey answered honestly.

Candlemon and Terriermon looked at each other and nodded looking at Eli and Freya.

"Could we accompany you on your journey?" They asked together as Eli and Freya smiled and nodded.

The two Digimons cheered before going into the D-Port. Candlemon to Eli's D-Port and Terriermon to Freya's D-Port.

"Does anyone have any other business they have to attend to?" David asked as Reagan and Marco raised their hands.

"Can we use the toilet?" They asked as everyone nodded, they soon scurried of to the toilet and a few minutes later returned.

"Now let's go." Regina said as they walked out of the tavern once again.

"It is very cold here." Audrey said wrapping her arms around herself.

"We'll get through this." Eli said positively before they headed off to continue their journey.
