The adventure of the new digidestined children

Chapter 18

The next morning, Audrey and Regina woke up first to cook for the others since they didn't know what food the Digimons ate. Dorumon and Catellamon woke up slightly after following the girls.

The four of them walked out of the prison and into the common hall where they saw multiple Digimons running here and there.

"Um, excuse me." Regina said tapping lightly on a nearby Digimon who turned his head to look at her.

"May I help you?" The Digimon asked impatiently

"Kitchen?" Audrey asked the Digimon back as he pointed to a direction.

"Thanks." Regina smiled as the two girls  and two Digimon walked off to the direction they were directed. When they entered the kitchen, they were shocked to find it empty.

"Wow... where is everyone?" Dorumon asked as Regina shrugged and they began to cook.

"What type of food do they have here anyway? And where are the ladders?!" Audrey asked annoyed as she tried to reach the counter since it was designed for the Royal Knights.

"They're tall. Let's get an upgrade then." Regina smirked as she took a card out of her deck.

"Digimodify! Digivolution activate!" She shouted sliding the card through the slot in her D-Port.

"Dorumon digivolve to! Dorugamon!" The newly evolved Digimon shouted

"Alright then... let's do the same." Audrey stated as she took a card from her deck.

"Digimodify! Digivolution activate!" She shouted sliding the card over the slot.

"Catellamon digivolve to! Sangloupmon!" The newly evolved Digimon shouted

"Alright. Me and Dorugamon will get the materials to make the meal. While you set everything up." Regina stated as Audrey nodded before taking another card from her deck.

"Should we make food for the Knights too?" Audrey asked as Regina nodded before scurrying off with Dorugamon to get the ingredients.

"Digimodify! Hyper wings activate!" Audrey shouted sliding the card through the slot. Sangloupmon suddenly gained white razor wings.

"Okay. I need..." Audrey began listing items for Sangloupmon to get as she flew towards the counter with Audrey on her back. As soon à they landed, Sangloupmon went to search for the items.

-with Regina and Dorugamon-
"Okay... shrimps... where do they keep that?" Regina asked as she rode on Dorugamon's back.

"Freezer." Dorugamon pointed as they flew down towards a huge freezer.

When they opened the freezer they were greeted by tons of snow flowing out.

"Cold..." Regina shivered as Dorugamon dived in to get a small bucket of shrimps.

"Wow... the shrimps are small..." Dorugamon said glancing at the normal sized shrimps.

"And get the big ones too!" Regina instructed as she jumped into a nearby fridge trying to open it. Dorugamon put the small bucket out of the freezer and dived into the freezer once more.

When it fully opened, she went inside to get cheese and basils.

"I can't believe the Digimons actually have human food." Regina muttered to herself as she quickly got out of the fridge, jumping towards the freezer. Almost falling.

"Still got it." She sighed as she met Dorugamon who was throwing 10 pieces of king sized shrimps towards the bucket.

"Come on, that's enough. Time to go." Regina ordered as she and Dorugamon flew back to the kitchen.

"Heads up!" Regina shouted as she threw the basils down towards the counter.

"Now Sangloupmon!" Audrey instructed as Sangloupmon began cutting the basils up with her blades.

"I'll grind the cheese." Dorugamon insisted as she took the cheese from Regina and started grinding them.

"We'll cook the shrimps!" Audrey stated as she and Regina threw all the available shrimps into the pan and cooked it.

When they were done, they flew towards the dining room and set the table. For both the humans and the Knights.

They then set out the food and waited patiently for the Knights and other kids to wake up and eat.

The Knights soon came in to the smell of shrimps as they sat down.

"Let's eat!" Crusadermon cheered but was stopped by Gallantmon.

"Wait. We have to wait for the humans!" He stated

"I wanna chow down!" Examon shouted as Alphamon silenced him.

"They are our guests. We have to wait." He stated as the Knights who were against the humans grumbled incoherently under their breaths.

When the other kids got there they sat on the table along with their Digimons, with Regina, Audrey and their Digimons following shortly after.

They soon began eating.

"This is the best thing I've tasted in so long!" Dynasmon stated

"I agree..." Leopardmon smiled as she ate some more shrimps.

"Where is the chef! I would like to comment on this delicious meal! This is amazing!" Crusadermon stated as the Digimon butlers and maids look at each other confused.

"But sire. None of us made you breakfast. Since you said you always made your own breakfast." One of the Digimons said

"Then who made this?"
