chapter 9

~•Shawn's pov•~
"Mia where are you? We need to go!" I yell.
"I'm right here" I hear her sweet voice behind me. I turn around and see her standing in front of me in her dress. She looks absolutely stunning! Every inch of her is beautiful. I try to push away the impulse of kissing her rosy lips.
"Do you like it?" I ask her.
"I love it!" she whispers. "Thank you so much"
"No problem. You look really beautiful" I can see her cheeks get rosy a little bit. Cute. I reach out my arm.
"Miss Clark, would you like to join me?" I ask in a conseited voice.
Mia chuckles and takes my arm.
"Let's go Mister Mendes"

~•Mia's pov•~
Shawn is wearning the things I picked for him. The blue trousers and the shirt with dots. He consisted in wearing a leather jacket with it and I couldn't argue him out of it.

Our car arrives at the venue where the ama's are held. I have to say that I'm quite nervous. I've never been to something like that. Shawn takes my hand and squeezed it.
"Everything will be fine" he tries to take away my nervousness. I smile up to him and we get out of the car. Let's face this.

As soon as we are out of the car. I hear lots of people scream and I see many lights of cameras from all directions. Shawn and I are on the red carpet. He takes my hand and leads me through this. I decied to smile the whole time. We pose for some pictures. I step away from Shawn so that they can take pictures from him only.

I feel someone tip on my shoulder I turn around and there is a beautiful woman standing in front of me.
"Welcome to the ama's. I assume you are Shawn Mendes' date for tonight. What's your name?" She asks very friendly.
"I'm Mia Clark" I answer.
"Do you mind if I ask you and Shawn some questions?"
"No I'm fine with this" I reply.
Shawn comes next to me and we start the interview.

"Shawn, tell us something about your new album. What was it that inspired you?" the interviewer asks. Shawn answered the question and also some more. I listened to him carefully. How he speaks about his music is just fabulous. You can tell he really lives for his music.
"Now about you Mia, I really love your dress! It's so nice and I think I speak for everybody when I ask you where it is from." the interviewer says.
"Actually I designed it by myself" I blush a little.
"Wow I didn't know you were a desinger! Amazing!" she says in amazement.
"No I'm not really a designer. Actually I'm Shawn's stylist I just do it as hobby but it was always my dream and today it came true thanks to Shawn" I smile up to Shawn.
"Well I'm not a expert but I think you could be really succesful!"
"Thanks" I say.
"You two are a really cute couple if I'm allowed to say that. " the interviewer says all of a sudden.
Shawn and I look at each other.
"We aren't a couple actually" Shawn says looking back at the woman.
"Well we'll see" she smirks. "Thank you for letting me ask you some questions and good luck!" We say goodbye and leave her.

After the ama's we head out of the building. Shawn didn't win but he's fine with it. He had to do some more little interviews and take some pictures. I'm always by his side and most of the time he hold my hand. I love the feeling of his warm hands interwined with mine. Shawn looked so happy during the whole evening and I was happy too. I really enjoyed it.

"Mia i want to introduce you to somebody" Shawn says pulling me in another direction.

He comes to a rest when we stand in front of a girl who had it's back to us. Shawn tips on her shoulder and she turns around. I recognise her it's Camila Cabello from Fifth Harmony.

"SHAWN!" she screams and and hugs him thight. He laughes and pulls her close. I have to say I'm a little bit jealous. I want to be the one who hugs  Shawn like that. Eventhough I didn't know where this feeling came from.
She actually looked gorgeous with her dark long hair and her curvy body. I looked like a fucking ugly cereal box next to her. [if you don't understand: cereal box means no curves;)]

"Camila I want you to introduce you to Mia. She's my wonderful stylist and designer"
"Hi, nice to meet you I'm Camila"
"Nice to meet you too" I say smiling. I could feel that she's faking her smile. But why? Why would she hate me even if i haven't even spoken to her.
I also get to know the other girls from Fifth Harmony. The other were more open to me they were quite friendly.

"They will be touring with us at Jingle Ball next week." Shawn says joyfully.
"Oh that's cool." I say awkwardly but no one seems to notice. Hopefully everything will be fine then. I will be touring with them.

After a while of talking and meeting people we are getting picked up by a car. The whole crew is living in the same hotel for the moment. Shawn and I go inside of the hotel and he leads me to my room.

We stop in front of my room. Shawn stands in front of me really close. He takes my hands in his and looks me in the eyes.
"I really enjoyed this evening with you by my side" he whispered.
"So did I. Thank you for taking me with you. "
We look at each others eyes when his head leads down and our lips meet. I close my eyes but he pulled out very fast. It was just a simple kiss on the lips.
"Goodnight Mia" he says in a deep voice and walks away.

I couldn't move. I was mesmerized. I can still feel his warm soft lips on mine. It was the best feeling ever and I already miss that...
