chapter 5

~•Mia's pov•~
I wake up at 10 in the morning. Today I'm meeting Shawn which makes me really excited

I get up and dress myself in grey skinny jeans, a white off-shoulder blouse and my favorite doc martens with flowers on them. I put on some mascara and walk out the room.

As I get out the hotel I watch out for Shawn but I can't see him. I decide to just wait. I take two steps back to get out of the way when I step on a loose shoelace of my shoes. I stumble backwards and I'm about to fall when two arms wrap around my body and keep me from falling. I get out of the arms and look in the face of a smirking Shawn Mendes. He begins to laugh when he sees my surprised face.
"You didn't expect me, didn't you?" he was still laughing at me. I couldn't resist so I started laughing too.
"Thank you for catching me. This would have been so embarassing! But it wouldn't be the first time something like this happens to me. You have to know I'm really clumsy." I say while smiling up to him.
"No propblem. As long as I'm around you you can fall as much as you want I will always catch you", Shawn responds.

"Do you like rollercoasters?" Shawn asks me.
"Are you serious? I love them!"
"Then I have a pretty good idea where to go.", he says with a devilish smile on his face.

We arrive at the 'Fun&Joy Park' 5 minutes later.

[I don't known if this park exists. I just made up a name]

"Let's go to the big one" I drag Shawn.
"Whatever you want, Mia"

Some minutes later we found ourselves in the front seat of the biggest rollercoaster of the park. First it goes slowly up then it starts to race really fast.

I see Shawn holding the binding piece really strong. I smile at him take his hands and lift them over his head. We both scream out of the bottom of our lungs. The rollercoaster ends too fast.

"That was so funny. Let's do it again" Shawn laughes.
"Yeah one more time" I yell and he laughes even more.

In the evening Shawn drops me at the entry of the hotel. We stand there and talk about some random things.

"So tomorrow you will come with us to New York. I have some Interviews and things to do there."
"Cool, I've never been to New York yet." I admit.
"Well then it's high time!"
"Thank you for the nice day. I really appreciated it" He gives me a small kiss on the cheek and walks slowly away. I however stand there and look like a 5-year-old who just got his favorite WinniePooh balloon.

I shake my head to clear my mind. What's up with me? Why do I have this happy feeling in my stomach?

~•Shawn's pov•~
As I walk away I can feel Mia starring at me. She's such a friendly girl and such a good friend. It's like we've know each other for a long time not just since some days.

Hello to whoever might be reading my story. I promise it will get a bit more interesting now! It's just the beginning and Mia and Shawn have to get to know each other first.
